Paper and files everywhere, every corner of my room filled with documents, this D.I.C.E case is seriously going to drive me crazy...

The gloomy look in the sky, plus the cold weather doesn't help either. But... looking at my window and seeing the outside is the only place that doesn't hurt my eyes at the moment, even tho I just woke up...

Should I just tell the rest of the team it's better to focus on the infidelity cases, for the sake of my mental health?
Every morning, waking up at 6 in the morning, to look at maps, papers, data, I'm getting tired... I know sometimes they steal from people, but half of the time it's just those idiot pranks, we have better things to work on!

Maybe, I got just enough clues to find the main guy behind this, and end this case for good.

Damn, this might be the most annoying case they ever got me into it, especially since it's just me and the girl who got working with us last week...

"That's it. I'm ending this today" I whispered to myself, trying to motivate my soul.

I'm finishing this today, no matter what. I'll just put some random hoodie and the first pair of pants I find, I should be back in minutes.

Taking a final look at the maps and data we collected in those weeks, I set my foot to my destination: Their supposed meeting place.

Thinking about it, I shouldn't go to an organization meeting place without any type of security, but screw it.
Whatever happens, happens. Plus, according to some papers and some searches around them, they mostly do pranks, so there's almost no chance of them... I don't know, taking me to Siberia.

Oh, other thing! I'm just going to check the place out, if it smells fishy, I'm going to report to my team's manager that the investigation process is over, and they will send the other team to finish off.

After walking some minutes (that seemed like hours!), I arrived at my destination.
I don't think rushing any case is a good thing, but... Come on, I'm human too.

"There it is..." I confirmed to myself.

It looks like a normal street... Except the, uh... Crackhouse in some meters, and the fact that there's no one on the sidewalks..? Weird, that's usually the hour of the day that people go to work or school, every sidewalk should be a bit busy...

"THAT'S HIM! GET HIM!" A sour voice yelled from behind, as some people with matching uniforms and masks ran in my direction. One of them had a backpack... This can't be happening!

Trying my best to run away, I sprinted to my left, since it was the opposite direction of the crackhouse.

But my plan failed, they had me cornered...

"I GOT YOU RIGHT WHERE I WANTED, MISTER DICKTECTIVE! BETTER BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIIIIME!" Was the last thing I heard. I think I heard that voice in some of the audio data we collected?

Suddenly, every breath felt short, as my vision went black.

Ugh, every inch of my body aches... Wait...Am I using a blindfold?

As I tried moving, I felt something like a pair of handcuffs not letting me go anywhere, even tho my other hand was free.

After attempting to untie the blind knot holding the fabric together, I hear the sound of a door opening, really close to wherever I was laying in it.
