Chapter Four

When Will got back to the infirmary Nico was awake.

"Hey" Will said "I thought you were sleeping."

"I was, but then I woke up" Nico replied.

"Well good because I brought you some food. I didn't get you a lot because you don't seem to eat a lot. " Will placed the tray of food on a table next to Nico bed. "I got you a sandwich. And if you get hungry later I got you an orange, because they didn't have pomegranates. "

Nico grabbed half of the sandwich an started eating. " That's alright, I don't really like pomegranates. Um... Thanks."

Suddenly there was a loud noise outside and everyone in the infirmary went quiet. Then some went outside to see what it was.

" You stay here, I'm gonna go see what that was. " Will told Nico, then ran out the door.

Of course Nico didn't listen. He ran out of the infirmary about a minute after Will, and saw a huge group of people surrounding a big metal dragon.

Festus.

Nico went to the group of people, being careful to look out for Will.

When he got there he pushed his way through them until he got to the front.

He saw a girl in a red shirt and some jeans, and her hair was braided.

Next her he saw Jason and Piper, who looked like they were crying, talking to...Leo?

That's impossible, Nico thought. He just stared in disbelief.

Then Annabeth and Percy showed up next to him. Annabeth screamed and ran to hug Leo.

Nico looked up at Percy, who was only slightly taller than him. He wasn't looking at Leo, he was looking at the girl. Calypso, Nico guessed he name was. Percy went over to talk to her. It looked like he was apologizing.

Any hope that Will wouldn't see Nico was thrown out the window when Leo saw him.

When Leo turned his head and saw Nico. He screamed 'Nico' as loud as he could, then went and hugged him. In front of everyone.

" Nico!" Leo yelled again " what happened to you! You're not wearing black and you're around people! "

That was kind of mean, Nico thought. well it is true.

Nico answered anyways. " I didn't have any clothes, and Piper is the one who brought it to me."

Everyone stopped talking when Chiron came up to them.

"Alright, everyone go back to your activities. Will Wait here. " Chiron said.

Everyone left -except for the seven and Nico. Will went and stood by Nico. Nico could tell he was angry.

" Will I want you to take Leo to the infirmary and jay make sure he is okay."

Chiron left and everyone followed Will to the infirmary.

"Nico go lay back down" Will said as they got there.

He went to his bed and sat down and Leo went to sit an the bed parallel to him.

Jason also went to sit next to him.

"Hey" he said "you didn't know?"

"Well if I did, why would I keep it a secret?" Nico said, slightly irritated.

"Alright, you don't have to be so defensive about it." Jason said, jokingly .

"You're lucky you're my friend" Nico said and turned to see Jason smiling at that. Nico smiled too.

When it was time for dinner they all left, leaving Nico alone with Will.

"Why did you leave?" Will asked.

"I wanted to know what was going on." Nico told him

"You could've gotten hurt."

"Well, I'm fine"

"Okay " Will said " I'm going to dinner, do you want anything?"

Nico realized how tired he was. And that he still had half a sandwich left.

"No, I'm gonna go to sleep."

" Good, you need it" Will said as he left.

Nico went and sat on his bed. he ate the rest of the sandwich that Will gave him earlier. He still didn't eat the orange.

After, it took him awhile to get to sleep. but he eventually did.
