Chapter 21

Nico just packed random things. He was only staying for a few days, so it didn't really matter what he brought.

It's not like he could bring games or books or anything like that. He didn't have a lot of possessions.

When he was done, he shadow travelled both Reyna and him to Camp Jupiter.

They ended up in her room.

Nico sat on her couch, trying not to pass out.

Will is such a liar, he thought, I'm completely fine.

" Are you okay? " Reyna asked, worriedly, " do you need anything?"

Nico shook his head, " No, no, I'll be fine in a few minutes."

"If you say so," Reyna said, sitting next to him.

They sat in silence, Reyna watching him, until he assured her he was fine.

" So, what happened with that boy you were talking with?"

Nico stiffened, " I don't know who you're talking about."

" Really?" Reyna said, smirking.

"Yeah," Nico paused, thinking of how to change the subject, "What about you? Have you been talking to any boys?"

Reyna shifted nervously, " Not really no. But -"

She was interrupted by someone knocking at her door.

"Reyna?"

It was Hazel.

Hazel stopped when she saw Nico, like she forgot what she why she was there.

"Nico?"

He looked at her.

" Hazel."

Then there was an awkward silence between the three of them.

Until Hazel decided to sit next to Nico, and take his hands in hers.

"Hazel wh-"

"Nico, I'm sorry."

He looked up at her.

"What?"

"I'm sorry about what I said. I know I was wrong." She spoke, sounding like she was going to cry.

"Hazel! It's alright! I thought it was wrong too, last year I probably would've agreed with you-"

She hit his arm, " don't say that!"

"Okay," he gave a small laugh, "Hazel, it's alright."

"Hazel," Reyna chimed in, "it's better that you realized your mistakes now than never at all."

Hazel wiped a tear from her eye, "Yeah, I guess you're right.
Anyway... Um, I'm sorry, I forgot what I originally came here for."

"That's alright," Reyna replied. "Stay with us for a bit."

"Okay."

Awhile later, Nico went to get a sweater because he was cold.

A few minutes after he put it on,  he remembered it was Will's.

I feel like I'm not updating enough, but I have lots of things to do...

Also a few weeks ago I found out I was lithromantic or akoiromantic. I tried telling my mother and grandmother but they don't believe me. If you don't know what it is I'll explain it to you if you want.

Also today is my fathers birthday.
