Chapter 20

Nico ended up back in his cabin.

He was dizzy and very tired from shadow traveling.

He somehow made it to his bed and stayed there until he could see and think again. When he could, he stayed there.

He kept thinking about what just happened.

He regretted it more each time he replayed it in his head.

Everyone knew that he liked Will now, and how jealous he was.

Then there was a knock at his door.

He groaned, and went to go answer it.

It wasn't until he reached the door that he thought that it could've been Will.

Did he really want to open the door to see Will right now? No.

But it was too late because he was already at the door.

He opened it.

He was lucky it was Reyna.

He let out a sigh a sigh and pulled her into a hug.

" Nico, I missed you so much!"

"Missed you too. What are you doing here?" Nico asked.

" I was talking to Chiron about some stuff."

Nico moved to go sit on his bed again and Reyna followed.

" I was also wondering if you would come back to Camp Jupiter with me. Only for a few days."

Nico thought about it.

If he went it would be easier to avoid Will.

But... Then he might have to deal with Hazel.

He was okay with that, though, because at least he would know if she was okay.

" Yeah, I'd like that." He told Reyna.

She smiled, " Good. We'll leave once you're ready."

He nodded and started getting his stuff together.
