Chapter 14

Nico woke up because someone was knocking on his door.

He thought it was Percy or Jason.

" Go away!" He yelled.

" Do you really want me to go?" The person said.

Nico knew that voice. He got out of bed and went to open the door.

" Reyna!" He yelled as he hugged her. After a few seconds he pulled away.

" Is Hazel here to?"

" No, but she wants to see you soon."

" What are you doing here?"

" I came to talk to Chiron, and get the campers that wanted to stay here for awhile. So I won't be staying long."

" Well what do you want to do?"

" I don't care what we do, but I did promise to go practice with Jason later."

They decided to just walk around camp. They both talked about how they were, and Reyna told Nico how his sister was. They also hung out with Piper for a little while, before they went to go find Jason to practice.

Nico decided to sit and watch them.

" Nico! " He heard someone yell, he immediately knew it was Will. He looked in the direction he heard his name, and saw Will running towards him. Once he got there he sat down next to Nico.

" Hi." He said. Nico said hello back. They mostly just sat there, and watched the other two practice.

At some point Jason took his shirt off, and they heard a bunch of girls giggling behind them. They turned to see that it was Drew and some of her friends.

" She's so annoying" Nico told Will.

"She isn't that bad, she can be a good person... Sometimes."

Nico looked at him like he started speaking another language.

" How can you even say that?"

" Well... I kinda dated her when we were younger..."

Nico was shocked, he had no idea what to say.

After thinking about it - and without meaning to - he felt a little jealous.

He couldn't help himself from asking " Were you with anyone else?"

Even though Nico tried not to show it, Will could hear the jealousy in his voice.

" Well there was a boy , when was living with my mom" After Will said that he realized it wasn't a very good idea to mention it. " But I don't have feelings for them anymore. We all fall in love with a few people, until we meet the one we truly belong with, and we'll be with them forever..." Will realized how stupid he sounded, and stopped talking.

He turned to see Nico silently laughing at him.

" Don't laugh at me! And I'm sure you've been with a few people."

" Nope."

That surprised Will.

"Hmm... Have you ever had a crush on anyone?"  Will asked and leaned to slightly push Nico.

" I don't wanna talk about it. "

" He never wants to talk about anything." Jason said, rudely interrupting their conversation. They also noticed Reyna standing next to him, but she was looking at the girls behind them.

" Do you guys ever practice?" She asked them.

" No" one answered " 'cause, like, we use our instincts and stuff, cause it's in our blood to fight monsters...duh."

" I'm pretty sure that's not enough." Reyna told them.

" Well it's worked so far." Another said, quite rudely.

Drew stood up. " I have an idea! How about me and you could, like, have  a little battle thing and if I win then we were right. " She looked so proud of her self for coming up with something.

Reyna just looked at her like she was dumb, but agreed just to show them they were wrong.

" Drew can be so stupid sometimes." Will whispered.

The fight was interesting to watch. Drew lasted longer than they would've thought, but still lost pretty quickly.

They both walked back. Nico expected Drew to have a fit, but she didn't. They could hear Drew trying to get Reyna's attention.

After getting slightly annoyed Reyna finally looked at Drew.

Drew finally happy that Reyna was listening to her, asked " Okay, I know you probably won't be here for a long time, but I was wondering if you could teach me how to fight better."

"Sure, tomorrow." Then without really knowing how else to get Drew away, she said " you should go fix your hair. "

The look on Drew's face was hilarious, though no one really laughed. Drew immediately ran away, and her friends fallowed her.

" She can be so weird sometimes" Will said.
