Sitting down drinking my A positive , watching Queen of the Damned ( my favorite movie , Aaliyah was so beautiful ) . She's in the tub with Lestat & I always wanted to do that with somebody , draw a bath filled with rose petals and just relax . Gulping down the last of my positive A , I fiend for something more like human blood ... Normally the artificial shit I get is just fine but I fiend for more .
Calling my mom to tell her about my Feigning for fresh human blood , I get interrupted by another incoming call and it's the devil himself .
" hello Abel ."
" Nerina , are you at home ? "
" are you okay ? Why do you sound like that ?" I say as panic fills my voice
" I don't know what's going on , I don't feel the same , my vision is more enhanced , and my body is going cold . Please help me. I don't know what's happening . " he says through his various grunts .
" where are you at ? " I say grabbing my keys , jacket & heading to my car .
" Las Vegas BLVD , im across the street from XS night club . "
" stay right there, I'll be there in like 30 seconds ."
Opening the car door , starting the ignition , I calm myself so I can properly teleport myself to XS , that club was atleast 40 minutes from my apartment . Clearing my mind , the car starts getting lighter & lighter .
Looking up I see XS up the street . It was packed from the outside , people waiting in line . I get out and walk on the left side of the sidewalk to look for Abel . After getting closer to the club I see him sitting on the bench doubled over .
" Abel !" Running towards him , he looks up and he doesn't look like Abel at all . The hair is the same but his eyes are a sandy brown , his fangs have came in and his skin is glowing more than before .
" what's happening ? It's gotten worse ."
" you're turning into a full vampire Abel ."
" my body feels different . Rina I don't want to be a vampire anymore, please take it back."
" I can't Abel . I'm not in control of this." I look at him as his body jerks uncontrollably & his screams echo off the pavement drawing attention to our area .
" it's okay , it's just your body dying . Soon you won't feel anything , you'll just be a shell for your rotten organs ." Sitting on the ground beside him , trying to think of a way to ease his pain . Placing my hands on his chest to stable his jerking , I lift up his shirt to see his the imprints of his organs fluctuating then deflating.
" it'll be over soon ." I say looking at him . A few moments later , he's completely still looking up at the sky .
" Abel .. Are you okay ? What are you looking at ?"
" come with me ..." Grabbing on to my hand jerking me down , I lay beside him on the warm pavement and look up at the starry sky . Going further and further up , passing the trees, then the moon , then we're above the clouds . Before I know it we're floating ... In a galaxy !
" Abel ... Don't let me go ."
" why ? This is so fun !" He says bouncing around in mid air , dragging a screaming me a long with him.
" I hate heights , please , just don't drop me or let me go . I don't want to drift off into space and vanish ."
" you're not going anywhere , you'll just float . See look ." He says letting my hand go slowly ."
" No ! Abel please , don't let me go !!" I say scramming to get close to him .
