Breaking News this morning. Police has confirmed two men whom know as the Slasher, were arrested yesterday during their third attempt to their victim. The young worker who survived the incident, claimed that she was rescued by two pedestrians, who fled the scene. Police are still tracking down the heroes...

"You got home pretty late last night." Christi nodded behind the wheel.

"I'm sorry, Mom." Chloe turned off the radio.

"Chlobird, Mommy is never going to question what you are up to." Christi steered the family car up the school driveway.

Chloe looked at her mother with guilt.

"Mommy knows you are capable of taking care of yourself, and is proud of your doing." she pulled the car to a stop, turned to her daughter and smiled. "Just don't think that Mom's an idiot!"

"Mom, I..."

"Mommy just wants you to get enough sleep, so you can be ready for school the next morning."

"I do, Mom."

"That's all I'm asking for. School always comes first. Okay?" she gave her loving smile.

"I know, Mom. I love you." Chloe gave her mother a kiss and stepped out the car.

She watched her mother drove away, thinking how much she may know of her secret missions. She wanted to do good for others, but it has taken over much of her duty being a daughter.

That doesn't mean you should be looking for trouble! Kalani's words came to her head. She couldn't help to look around, thinking Kalani maybe somewhere watching her.

"Chloe!" her class teacher called her at the entrance.

"Yes, Mrs. Holloway." she answered.

"The Principal is asking for you."

"Is something wrong?"

"Don't worry, nothing bad has ever come from you!" Mrs. Holloway smiled.

Chloe headed to the Principal's Office, wondering what he would ask of her. Ever since she quitted the TV show, she has been catching up with her grades, and has become a straight-A student within a year, among other school activities.

"Chloe!" the Principal waved her in from his desk.

"Good morning, Principal Sullivan." Chloe stepped into the office, she was asked to sit next to another girl.

"This is Chloe Lukasiak, one of our top students!" the Principal said to the other girl, and then turned to Chloe. "This is Victoria Henriette. She is an exchange student from Europe."

Chloe nodded to the new girl politely.

"She will be staying here for the remaining of the semester, and I would like you to be her guide."

"Her guide?" Chloe blinked.

"Show her around, teach her our culture."

"Thank you Principal Sullivan, but I'm not sure that I'm qualified." she said.

"Oh I'm sure you are more than qualified!"

Principal Sullivan smiled and nodded, Chloe wasn't sure whether he was referring her school grades, or that she was caught on video taking down armed men.

"But I still have classes, and assignments."

"You don't have to worry about that. I'll speak to the teachers to cut you some slack. Your primary duty now is Victoria. Your guidance to her will highly reflect our school reputation. Every staff will treat it as first priority!"

Chloe stepped out of the Principal's Office with the new girl, who smiled politely, waiting for her instruction. Victoria has honey blonde hair that curls over her chest. She has green eyes and dimples, almost like a doll.

"Where do you come from, Victoria?"

"Please, call me Vicky." the new girl smiled with a foreign accent. "My family is from Neutral Moresnet, a small country north of Belgium."

"Are your parents here with you?"

"No, they are at home."

"You came here all alone?" rather rare for parents to send their 14 year old daughter alone to a school oversea... Chloe thought.

"No. My family has staff taking care of me."

"Why did you choose this school?"

"My parents said this is the best!"

"Okay." Chloe nodded, thinking there must be more. "Let me show you my class."
