Ertugrul folded the prayer mat and lay down on the mattress again beside Halime.

Halime woke up, sweating hard, breathing heavily and having tears in her eyes. Ertugrul turned back listening to her heavy breaths.

Halime..!! Halime...!! What happened, are you fine?

Ertugrul sat down and held Halime's hand.

Are you fine my love?

Ertugrul.... Ertugrul.... what was that???

Ertugrul put his hand on Halime's cheek and turned her face towards him and wiped the tear from her cheek with his thumb.

What Halime? What happened? Why are you crying? Tell me... is this something like having difficulty in breathing while sleeping or something?

No... I saw a really bad dream... a really bad one.

Halime immediately hugged Ertugrul. Ertugrul started caressing her back. He felt her raising heartbeats. She was really scared and her situation made him scared too.

Okay relax! Relax, my love. I'm here and it was just a dream. It is gone.

Halime broke the hug and looked at Ertugrul.

It wasn't just a dream but thanks alot that it ended... it ended!!

Yes.... I'm.... fine! I'm fine!

Halime took her time to get normal. Ertugrul gave Halime water and after that he sat down beside her again. When he thought that Halime is normal, he asked the question.

But what was that?? What was the dream about? You said that it wasn't just a dream.... then what was that? And why it made you get so scared? Ertugrul asked while caressing Halime's face.

Every bad thing that happened in my life passed through my eyes. Those dark, scary and lonely days. It was more like someone is telling me that no matter how far I came, I'm still standing on same place. It was bad... really bad. My own past freaked me out. It scared me bad!!
