Everything Kiyomi dreamed of had crushed before her very eyes as venomous glares of disgust darted straight at her when she arrived in the board room of the company in London. Thousands of miles away from her safe haven, there was no escape. Two rows of parallel tables laid along the room and at the top of them was the one that made terror hit the pit of her stomach; the Executive Director.
"So this is the pathetic worm's daughter?" The middle-aged man sneered at Kiyomi as she looked at him confusedly wondering why the room broke out in laughter. He got off his chair and walked over to her, "now what should I do with this 'precious' flower of his." His hand reached out to lift her chin up to see her more clearly.
Kiyomi glowered at him, avoiding his hands or him coming anywhere near her by taking a few steps back.
"Ah, she's a feisty one." A young man appeared from the glass corridor, which was joined to the large board room, and stood next to the director. He wore a smart dusk, grey suit with a crimson tie.
"She is indeed," the director agreed, sniggering darkly before turning to face the guards behind her. "Take her to the 37th, the one looking out to the park." The guards nodded before roughly grabbing her arms and proceed to yank her out of the board room.
Where are they taking me?
"What's going on? Where are they taking me? I deserve to have some answers," Kiyomi spoke with such force that made the members around the table stare at her in shock. In a split second Kiyomi felt a throbbing pain on her left cheek as she stared into the cold eyes of the guy with the red tie.
"I don't like it when women speak out of turn, it shows that their parents haven't done a good job at teaching them manners." He waved the guards away as this time they took her out without any struggle. Kiyomi held in the tears as long as she could just as they were greeted by another black SUV in the car park below the building. At the moment they closed the door behind her, the car automatically locked itself. Kiyomi's eyes widened in fear noticing that coming from the air-con was a white smoke that mixed with the air.
Inside, the car quickly got clogged up by the unidentified smoke. Throwing her arms on the windows and the handle in a panic, she saw the guards in a struggle with three masked guys that were armed. Feeling her body go weak and dizzy, she gave one last murmur and thumped against the seats.
"Let's get moving," the leader of the mission told the other two as they came back from hiding the three unconscious body guards.
"Guess parking our SUV next to theirs was a better idea than trying to quickly modify theirs," one of them chuckled opening the front passenger door and slid on a gas mask as the others did too.
"Well, who exactly would pay attention to their license plate anyway," the other pipped up and got into the back strapping Kiyomi into an upright sitting position before clicking his seatbelt on. The leader started up the SUV and drove out and headed for their destination.
Who are they?
"Wake up sweetheart, we're almost there," the captor sitting next to Kiyomi lightly shook her awake but to his surprise she landed a bull's eye punch right on his nose. He fended back in pain and cursed loudly as his hands covered his bleeding nose. Kiyomi had backed herself against the door in fear and the guys sitting in front were pissing themselves laughing.
"Ha! And the day has finally come to where Dayton's charms doesn't work!" the driver teased the injured one as he smoothly turned the car up a narrow driveway.
"Aw man," Dayton lifted his head up with one of his hands pinched at his nose trying to stop of the bleeding. He then turned to Kiyomi and noticed how much she was shaking in shock before trying to think of something to calm her down. "We're not going to hurt you. Okay?" There was no answer in return apart from her wide-eye frightened expression. Dayton then spoke to the one sitting in the front passenger seat.
