Five leads the crowd to the kitchen, making a bee-line to the counter, where everything was placed from my sandwich earlier.

I trail in last, still hopelessly confused as to what just happened.

"What are you doing?" Luther asks coldly, staring Five down.

He moves the supplies to the table, leaving just enough room on the counter for me and Klaus to sit together, me slightly on his lap.

"Making a sandwich," Five replies, "Do you know how long it's been since I've eaten proper food?"

He opens the fridge slowly, but Luther slams it shut, making him groan and look up, annoyed.

"You look ridiculous, by the way" Five said, smiling.

I choke on my spit and start laughing, but quickly shut up when Diego punches me in the ribs.

"What? He said what we were all thinking!" I scoffed.

Luther ignored me completely.

"It's been 22 years, number Five. Where have you been?"

Five frowned, roughly slathering peanut butter onto his bread.

"It's been a lot longer than that" He says harshly.

Klaus furrows his brow, and I lean closer to him, giving him a one-sided hug.

"What happened?" Vanya asked.

"What do you think happened? I decided to test the limits of my time-jumping, see how far I could get. Turns out, pretty far"

Klaus smiles at me before elbowing Diego, who grudgingly gives him ten bucks, which he then splits with me.

I chuckled silently, turning my attention back to little number Five as he placed his marshmallows onto the bread, spaced out evenly, and covered the lone piece of bread with another, thus forming a sandwich.

"Dad always warned me not to go too far into the future, on account of my jumps only working in one direction. I guess, this time, he was right."

He pauses to take a bite.

"Christ, I needed that"
