Lizzy's Point of View

The bus drove along the beach cost of the island. Palm trees lined the road. The tranquil, deep blue water would reach out on the snowy white sand and get pulled back again. Some people were practing their powers a little too close to the water, but they looked like they could control water. They would move their arms and the water would move with them.

"We're here." The buss driver said as the buss came to a light stop.

I grabbed my bag (which was on my lap the whole time) and followed Anna-Marie off.

"You guys come with me. Leave your lauguge on the bus, this will only be a minute." Gavin said. Aoki and Ayaka took off in one direction as we were lead through white doors attached to a  big white building with small round windows. Inside it was kind of like a fancy five star hotel. The carpet was thick and my feet felt as if they were sinking in something squashy with dark red, blue, purple, and green swirly's on it. We would, every once and a while, pass a door with a lable on it. I really didn't bother reading any, my eyes were too mesmorized on the pretty carpet.

"Here we are." Gaving said after a long walk down the halway that will never end. We stopped and stood infront of a door that read "office" In black letters outlined in white that stood out against the muddy brown door.

That's when I came to realize that the air smelled like mint. It wasn't like that sickning mint, but more like the happy enjoyable mint.

The door opened to a deep skinned women and the first thing I saw when I looked at her face were her bright red lips. They looked almost neon! I didnt know you could buy lipstick that bright! I practally had to where sun glasses looking at those things!

With out saying a word Gavin led us through the door. Behind it was a big office with a lot of qubicals. The room was very birght but I saw no lights.

"Do you see any lights?" Anna-Marie asked me.

"I was just about to say the same thing." I replied

"Oohh, ok."

A dark wooden door was at the back. I keept my eyes on it as we walked closer.

I pointed towards the door and said to Anna-Marie, "I think bet were going to go through that door over there."

She just gave a little chuckle and said, "Naw really?"

A man in a dark blue tux, and a nice clean shave stepped out from behind the door and greeted us.

"Hi im Mr.O'Reilly." He said with a warm smile, almost too warm. "Im really backed up on work and things or I would've meet you guys at the airport. Anyway this Oilean, what we call this whole island. You are here because we have found something else in you DNA that makes you different from other people. Some of us can comtroll an element, others can shift into animals, and there is much more. Right now don't freak out if you dont know what you can do, you'll find out later." He turned to Gavin and said, "I'll come with you while you get the two girls settled. I can't explane everything right now, ill tell you on the way." Gavin looked confused, but then he whispered something is his ear and Gavin nodded his head.

All of the sudden the light in the room went dim and some lady said over the loud speaker "Code Charlie" Right as she said those words everyone started rushing around and papers started flying. The tension in the room started to raise and we were hurried out of the building.

Some random people walking on the sidewalk started to run towards the building. The people started to stand like they were ninja's along the beach.

"I wonder what's going on." I whispered to Anna-Marie.

"Yah me too." She said back.

I could tell Gavin and Mr. O'Reilly were freaking out two. Some gun shoots went off in the direction towards the water. Suddenly the ground shook and a colossal wave came racing towards the island. Many of the people on the beach started to use their powers it looked like. They turned sideways and started to, what it looked like, push something. Another huge wave slowly formed at the shore of the beach. With out warning the wave on the shore took off towards the other wave. They collided with a loud clap and then bent backwards. Something was pushed out from the top of the waves, but i couldnt tell what it was my vision started to go white. I remember my feet lifting off the ground, but nothing after that.

Anna-Marie's Point of View

I stared at the massave wave. A bright light started comming from the corner of my eye. I looked over and a globe of light was surrounding Lizzy. She didn't look normal, more like her gaze was cemented on what was happening. The globe got brighter and the wind picked up. All eyes turned on Lizzy as she was lifted up. The light got so intense i had to look away. The weather immeditely went from a warm day, to a major storm. Fear swept through everyone, but only confusion came to me. I'd always known she could shift into animals, but not do this.

The strange object that came out of the top of the waves started to fire something, but the bright light comming from Lizzy blocked it from my vision.

The wind started to become more intense and I felt Gavin grab ahold of my shoulder and pull me back. The water started to put up a major fight within itself as the sand started to fly away. Some people held their hands to the ground, it kind of looked as if they were trying to hold down the sand.  I took one last look at Lizzy as the globe of light started turning into a ball of dancing fire that incased her body inside its dancing, flaming, fist. I could feel the heat in the air grow, also. I turned away as Gavin and I ran for the bowing trees next to the big white building.
