The Final Hour

Chapter 4

Lizzy's point of veiw

I ran for the woods with my feet landing knee-deep in snow. The trees surrounded me filling my insides with comfort. They spoke of winter and sleep. This is the one place where I can show myself. No one knows about my seceret, well Anna-Marie knows, but no one else!

I kept running as my feet turned into paws, my teeth started turning into sharp kitchen knifes, and black fur started to sprout all over. I was a panther. Yes, I can turn into animals get over it. The woods flew by me. I came to a stop at this little lake. It was my favorite place in the world. My body morfed back into a human as I walked over to a large rock that hangs out over the water. I sat there dangleing my feet off the edge just barely touching the water, making ripples starting at my toes and spreading outwards.

No one was there, this was my seceret place. It's where I go to relax. Where no one can bother me.

I heard a noise off to my right and natrual instincts kicked in. I snapped out my wings and jumped hard into the air. A rope caught my foot and I struggled to get free as I was pulled to the ground, and a net was thrown on top of me. Two men started tying me down.

The one on my left spoke, "Hello my pretty. You were hard to find. Good job." and he gave a sly smile.

"Damn it! Let me go." I spat.

"Now, now, don't be hasty you don't wanna get hurt. And why do you have those things attached to your back?"

"There called wings dumb ass." I rolled my eyes.

"How did you get those?"

"Well one time I was morphing into a bird and when I changed back they just stuck, Duh." But when I tuck them in all the way they like disappear into my back so then they go through my shirt somehow when it unflod them. Yah, I don't know. "Now it's my turn. Why are you guys dressed like ninja freaks?"

"Look at the little girl, she thinks she's big now. Aaww that's so cute." The guy said and stuck out his bottom lip making a pouting face.

"No one calls me little girl!!!" RIght as I said that I went into beast mode. My body became a tiny mouse and I ran through the holes of the net taking cover behind a tree. I hid within the roots until one of the air heads came close. At that moment a big bear took the place of my mouse and I stood high above him the adrenalin pumping through my vanes. I reared on my hind legs and as I brought my front legs down they landed on top of him not hard enough to kill him though, Beavis was knocked out cold. Now I just have to get Butthead.

Something shiny caught my eye. A knife. Oh that's just yay. The anger inside my grew until it showed. I gave a loud roar sending birds flying. I gonna fight this guy face to face. Human to human. Mua ha ha ha! That stupid guy grew taller as I became human again.

Ya know, that felling of fur going back into my skin has always given my the chills, its like a painless shot.

Anyway, there we stood slowly pacing in a large circle waiting for the other person to make the first move. His eyes closed to slits one hand holding the knife with his other hand a fist. Huh I guess its my turn then. I stuck out my tongue to make him angry and boy did it work.

The guy lunged at me knife first. That was dumb.I waited until last minute and then ducked  and grabbed his legs, pulling them together making him fall over. I rolled out of the way and let him stand up. A smile appeared on my lips. He lunged at me again but this time I grabbed his wrist and wrapped his arm around his neck so the blade is resting against it. His other hand was held behind his back.

"If I were you I would give up." I whispered in his ear. 

"Never." 

"Ok, well you might want to down first. Remember, I can kick really hard."

He looked down at my foot ready to kick his nuts. I saw his hand clench the knife tighter and the tension rose. I let out a giggle and brought my foot up as hard as I could. He gave a little wine and dropped the knife by my foot. I freed his hands and he fell to the ground holding his nuts. I looked at his face and saw a tear fall and become one with the snow.

I turned around and grabbed my forget me stick (It's really just a stick). I walked over to the first one I took out and gave him a good whack that's not to hard, but enough so he would forget what just happened. 

Then I walked over to the other guy. His eyes grew as big as... well lets just say they got really big. I did the same to that guy, and then dragged the two deeper into the woods. Not the first time I've done this. I propped them up next to a tree so it just looked like they were taking a nap.

"Ok I'm done." I said then unfolded my wings and took off.
