Its been about two months since I moved back to Stilwater. I could have stayed with King in New York. But I decided to come back and go to Stilwater University. I mean what can I say although its a piss poor city, they have a great education system. So I enrolled. Much to King's disapproval.

Anyway. I would say its good to be home after moving from place to place promoting King's new book. But then I'd be lying. I mean, yes Stilwater looks better. And yes the police are more alert. But that doesn't stop the pimping, prostitution, and gang violence. Since I've been back I've learned that three new gangs have risen here. The Ronin, The Brotherhood, and The Sons of Samedi. And quite frankly, I couldn't care less about them. First the Samedi are the drug dealers who's main income is the smoked out students on SU campus. And when that's not happening, their co leader is DJing on the radio. The Ronin are the Asian-American gang who specialises in prostitutes and kung fu. Their leader is some little boy, he can't be no older than me. And finally, the brotherhood. Their the muscle boy gang. They annoy me the most. Their leader, Marrow, is constantly hitting in me, even though he has a girlfriend. I try to stay clear of them, but they always seem to find me. At times like this I miss the Saints. Back in the day, I wouldn't be too worried about being here. I knew I was safe. We ran everything. Nobody would mess with us. Now with them gone, it seems that these new gangs are fighting to be at the top. And I'm left with my memories of my banger days.

So now I'm walking back to my apartment from my late classes. Unfortunately I had to walk through the Docks and Wearhouse district which is run by the Brotherhood. As soon as I walked over the district line I seen swarms of Brotherhood. I just kept my head down and tried to be quick. But that didn't stop them. They started screaming lewd thing to me. And the worst part is, the deeper I got into the district the closer I got to their hideout. I tried to detour around it almost everyday. If they saw me, Marrow found me. And today was no different. I was four blocks away from my house when someone put their arm around me, and I knew who it was just by the tattoos.

Me: Get your arm off me Marrow!

Marrow: Come on Ariann. You know you cant resist me. I don't know why you try.

Me: Don't you have a girlfriend?

Marrow: So?

I move his arm from around me and faced him.

Me: So go harrass her.

Marrow: I don't harrass women.

Me: So what are you call what your doing to me.

Marrow: Its called turning you on.

Me: No. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going home.

I turned and walked away. He chuckled.

Marrow: You cant get away from me Ariann. You know I'll find you.

I stopped in my tracks and he laughed again. He came up and got way to close for comfort.

Marrow: I don't know why you chose to fight me when you know I love the chase.

Then there was a series of police sirens and helicopters with searchlights roaming the city towards the water. He stiffened.

Marrow: Looks like I'm needed.

He made a motion with his hand then a huge monster truck rolled up. He got in the passenger side and looks out the window.

Marrow: Don't worry my dear Ariann. I'll see you later. I know where you live.

I froze. Him and his follower laughed as they drove off. I waited until they were out of eyesight and sprinted the last block. Once in my house I locked everything and sat in silence.
