My alarm went off early the next day. I rolled over and got out of bed. I turned on the news and got ready for work. I looked on the channel 8 news and noticed them reporting some type of prison break. Two inmates had broke out and road a boat back to Stilwater. And their on the loose. And the police had no lead as to their whereabouts. I shut off the tv.

Me: Fuckin Pigs. Cant even catch two damn inmates.

I cant believe they let some inmates escape. They must not be that good at their jobs. I mean what does the city fund them for if they can't keep us safe. I walked out my house and started on my way to work. I waitress at the bar Tee N' Aye that's just a few blocks away. I'm only going in so early to get some extra cash. I mean college classes ain't cheap. And the early drinkers are usually the big business types that like to drink before and after work. And their good tippers. Anyway, once I get the the only other person who's there is a waiter who's getting ready. I wave to him before going to the other side of the bar. In less than an hour little waves of people started coming in. I served a few beers and was in my own world until I herd the news on the TV on the other side of the bar.

Reporter: I'm outside the courthouse waiting game for the conviction of the illustrious, Johnny Gat.

Me: WHAT?

I ran to the other side of the bar. And sure enough, I saw Johnny's face on screen.

Me: Turn that up.

The bartender turned it up and left for the other side of the bar.

Reporter: I'm standing here now outside the courthouse, and it is a media circus. Every major news outlet is here hoping to be the first to cover the result of this historic trial. There....

I was so into the report, it almost scared me when the other bartender turned it off.

Guy: I was watching that.

I turned to the guy in shock.

Me: Boss?!

Boss: Surprise.

Me: You're alive! They told me you were dead!

Boss: No I'm not dead.

Me:Wow. You look great. You do something with your hair?

He chuckled.

Me:WOW! Everyone thought you were dead.

Jane: In a few short moments, we'll be allowed back into the courtroom, and we'll find out once and for all if Mr. Gat will go home a happy man, or a dead one. Back to you, Jack.

Boss: No. But if we don't hurry, someone might be. Come on!

We're driving about 100mph dodging cars, driving across the bridge trying to get to Gat. Hopefully we'll get there in time. We find the courthouse and drive passed the gate, halfway up the steps, then he decides to get out. I follow him into the building.

Me: Boss. This place is swarming with cops. Do you even have a plan?

Boss: of course. We walk in, save Johnny, and leave. Shooting anyone who gets in our way.

Me: Why am I not shocked my that answer?

Boss: Here.

He pulls out a Kobra and hands it to me.

Boss: You remember how to use one of these?

We walk around the corner, going down the hall towards Johnny's court room.
