Part 7: Not a Dream. REALITY.

Cole POV

Finally the weekend. AND I have no homework that needs to be done. I should probably do some studying since there is a test coming up but, hanging out with the guys sounds a whole lot better right about now.

I hopped out of my bed, got dressed, and headed downstairs for breakfast.

I grabbed some cake out of the fridge for breakfast because why not. Also my dad always sleeps in so, he can't stop me.

I sat down too eat my cake when I got a text message from Jay on the 'manly men' group chat.

Jay: so we all agreed to hang out today but we never confirmed the time...

Zane: is 1:00 a good time?

Kai: I actually just found out I gotta do some important stuff on the weekend so I can't hang...

Cole: does this important stuff happen to involve Skylor?

Kai: No! It's some important homework the math teacher told us to do!

Lloyd:  uhhh Kai, we are in the same math class and the teacher said no homework this weekend.

Kai: gotta go cya

Jay: ummm OK?

Zane: for the people that are able to hang out today, come to my house at 1:00 pm

Cole: sounds good

Jay: Cya then

Lloyd: Ill be there

I looked at the time, it's 8:30 so I got a LOT of time to kill before 1:00.

I decided on going for a quick morning jog by the beach like I do every Saturday morning. I texted my dad that I would be leaving so when he wakes up he isn't wondering where I am.

It probably wouldn't matter if I texted him anyway though, he's been pretty distant since my mom died a few years ago.

I was just about to leave when I got a text from Seleil.

Seleil: going for a morning jog?

I can't believe she actually remembered me telling her I do that.

Cole: yeah I was just about to leave

Seliel: can I come?

Cole: sure I'll meet you at the beach

Seleil: OK

A few minutes later at the beach

I looked around for Seliel but I couldn't see her. Where IS that girl.

I scanned the area one more time for her pink hair.

I quickly texted her

Cole: Hey I'm at the beach, where you at?

No response.

I made the choice to do some push ups while I was waiting. I'm good at those.

I was 7 pushups in when all of a sudden someone slammed me down on the ground. Making my face land right in the sand.

I spat out a mouthful of sand and looked up to see who was sitting on my back.

Of course it was Seliel.
