Part 12: The Real Stuff

Seliel POV

We all decided to split up to search for Cole.

I was walking down the street with Jay and Nya. We were trying to figure out where to look for Cole.

Jay and Nya had decided to go to a trail in the woods where Cole likes to walk, which was a good idea.

But that's when another idea came to my mind.

Maybe he's by where his mother  buried? It would make sense. He was really close to his mother.

I don't know why I told them I was gonna go alone, but I did. I went with Cole there once so I know where it is. Its kind of in the middle of no where to be honest. Not to many people live in that area.

It's a pretty long walk so I got an uber.

I was looking out the window when the car pulled up at the graveyard. I had also received a text while I was in the car that Kai and Skylor saw Cole, but he ran off to quickly. At least we know he's still in town.

I got out of the car and started walking down a paved pathway beside the gravestones. I don't exactly remember where the stone is specifically, but if Cole is here then I'm sure I'll see him.

Walking along the walkway, I only passed by two people, none of them being Cole.

I walked a bit deeper into the graveyard when someone caught my eye. They were on their knees in front of a tomb stone, wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and black jeans.

I squinted a bit trying to get a better look at him. Could that be Cole? I really didn't want to interrupt them, but I also need to find my friend. 

I approached the person calmly. "Excuse me?" I said making them jump a bit. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." I said.

The stranger stood up quickly, revealing their face. "Cole! I found you!" I hugged him but he pushed me off.

"Seliel. You should have stayed home." Cole said stepping back more.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you're wasting your time. I gotta go." He said about to run off.

"Wait!" I said. I meant to grab his arm to stop him from taking off, but I grabbed his hand by accident. I blushed and he then turned around. I quickly let go of his hand now that he had turned around.

"Please just come with me. Kai told me everything you said outside of the bakery. Whatever's going on with you, we'll figure it out, together." I said looking into his eyes.

"You're blushing." He said looking at me smirking.

"No I'm not! Stop changing the subject!" I said annoyed.

I could tell that he was starting to get more convinced.

"Ok I'll come with." He said.

Mission accomplished.

I texted the others that I had found Cole and that he was coming back with me. Their replies seemed pretty excited.

I kept trying to ask Cole stuff on the way back but he said he'd tell everyone at the same time when we get to Kai and Nya's place.

Sorry guys this chapter is extremely short. I didn't really know what else should happen.
