Dancing

I glared ahead. That girl in the mirror....she did the same.

Unfortunatly, that girl was me.

She was wearing crystal earrings and her hair was curly. She wore a tint red lipstick, and two bracelets and a necklace. She held a blue purse and had a tiara on. She looked like an angry princess.

"You look beautiful, my lady!" one of my maids said.

"Thank you.."I said, sighing.

Stupid ball...why did we have to have one? Why did I have to dress as a princess?

"It seems like your ready." my brother said, taking three quick pictures.

"I'm sending them to dad and Míske...their having a meeting right now." he said texting away. He wore a nice black and blue suit, his hair combed back.

"Don't do that!!" I yelled. He put his hand on my head.

"You look lovely.....just like mom." he said. "Have fun tonight..." he said, giving me a kiss on the head.

"..I will..."I told him. He smiled.

"Oh! Right. AHEM. Your carriage awaits..." he said, bowing. My face twitched.

"Not you too...!" I yelled.

At the door, believe it or not, was an actual carriage. It was glistening and glittering in the moonlight.

My face heated up.

This was something I've always wanted...but haven't told a soul.

A princess and her carriage....going to an actual ball. I mean, I hate dressing up at times ... But...I feel like I'm in a fairytale...even if its just for a moment.

"Have fun...princess." Akari said as he grinned. "Don't get too wild!" I blushed and hit him with my purse.

"Are you coming?" I asked as He helped me int he carriage.

"Sorry. I have a date." he said. My face turned into a mischevious grin.

"Oh~ I see. Have fun tonight~" I said as I got in the carriage. He blushed, and the charraighe drove away, my laughter filling the night.

Alright...

Here we are.

The carriage stopped, and the door opened, revealing Tamaki.

"Good evening, my princess." he said.

"Hey..." I said as he helped me out.

"Just in time." He said.

It was extravagant. Inside was a cesspool of gowns, suits, and fancyness.

I saw Haruhi, who looked amazing. She was wearing a light pink dress and had makeup on. She looked gorgeous.

"You look great Haruhi!" I told her as I hugged her. She smiled.

"Thanks. You look amazing, too, Sora." she said.

"You guys look great." the twins said.

"Thanks." We said.

"But I'll have to change int a suit later on to dance with some the ladies. Apparently I'm playing Prince and Princess."

We sighed, and looked as Tamaki began making announcements. I zoned out a little, and began having fun. Haruhi and I were dancing, having fun, snacking on sushi and having fun with the guys. Haruhi had to leave to change, and came back with a light red and black suit and a black tie. We danced with the host club and it was fun!!

"Alright! It's time to dance with your princess and Prince." Tamaki said. Haruhi and the host club got swept away by a stampede of girls, and I decided to stay on the wall....

But it was nice to see everyone having fun. Dancing and laughing...

"Seems like your having fun." Tamaki said.

"I mean, other then almost being forced to be here and being threatened by cake, yes." I said.

Tamaki smiled at that.

"Uh...would you...like to-" I began.

"Sora." he said. "It's appropriate for the Prince to ask the princess."He said. He walked in front of me and bowed, putting out his hand.

"Would you like to dance with Me, princess?" I smiled, taking his hand.

"...Of course."

We danced, my dress swaying and the lights sparkling.

"Mind if I step in?" Kyoya asked.

Kyoya spun me around, and I glared.

"Having fun?"he asked.

"Everyone keeps asking me that..."

"Well, believe it or not...you and Haruhi were able to make arise in production...so I wondered if you two at least were having a good time." he said.

"..I am...Heh..I'm surprised your not carrying your laptop around.."

"Oh no, I have it. It's Just away for safe keeping." he said, smirking. Honey was being swung by Haruhi, and Mori decided to cut in with my dance.

"Hey Mori-Senpai. You look nice this evening." I said. This surprised me.

"You too.."

My mouth opened, and I felt a small blush creep up on my face.

"T-Thanks..." I said.

It was fun.

....what?

Okay okay....IT WAS AWESOME! At one point, Hauhi and I was able to get everyone to take their shoes off...and we danced. It got late, like a bit after 12, and everyone began leaving.

"We had a great time!"

"I had so much fun!"

"It was amazing!"

"Can't wait for the next one!"

"Next one..?" I asked.

"This was the First Annual Ouran Ball. There will be many more." Kyoya said, typing away.

"You really did have that computer..." I said.

"Well...that ends our eventful night." Tamaki said.

"Hey Haruhi, wanna go home together?" I asked.

"Sure." she smiled. 

"No! We shall all go together." Tamaki said.

We all got into the carriage, and had fun.

"Hey, Kaoru." I whispered.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Doeant this kinda remind you of Cinderella?"

He smiled. "Yeah..but the carriage didn't dissapear at midnight..." he said.

I nodded.

"I don't think it ever will..." I said.

And so...

They drove off into the night...
