𝗠𝗔̀𝗚𝗢𝗔 ✰ CYPHER (VALORANT)

"Come on! The bomb is about to blow up," Y/N yelled at Sage to hurry up as she and Cypher fought off Killjoy and Sage. It felt like her and Cypher just met, which was.. nice.

Y/N huffed as she shot her gun - covering Sage and Cypher as Sage struggled to get Raze out and Cypher who carried Omen.

"GO!" Y/N yelled as Cypher took a deep breath and gave a war cry and ran with all of his strength. Y/N looked back. She knew she had to kill Killjoy and Skye.

She aim her gun up and aimed right in the head of Killjoy who fell to the ground. Sage saw and her eyes widened, it was almost like she was alive. Y/N turned towards her - not before having a bullet lodge into her arm. Y/N screamed in pain but shook it off. The adrenaline was too much for her to handle so as she stumbled a little she shot Sage and she fell down.

Y/N then huffed, putting the gun away and stumbling towards the Helicopter, the real Sage was already getting everything ready to treat Raze's wounds, Cypher was staring at the ground and when he spotted Y/N he yelled. Y/N could practically hear the relieved smile in that heartfelt yell. Y/N grabbed onto Cypher's hand with her non-shot arm and was pulled up. They than started to fly away as Y/N stared at the bomb as it blew up.

It didn't even explode anything.. it just took the radianite. "Hey.. are you okay? Are you hurt?" Cypher's concerned voice brought Y/N back to reality, the pain in her arm started to grow bigger as she winces at it. "I'm.. I'm fine, don't worry about me, Cypher," Y/N smiled softly to reassure the mess of a man.

Y/N sighs softly. Holding her arm in pain but never showing it. She puts her head on Cypher's shoulder. He freezes. But then, he relaxes, Y/N felt it, she smiled softly as she felt him relax into her touch, "just rest up when you get home, okay? I know how tiring your first mission must've been". Y/N felt him rest his head against's Y/N as her heartbeat started to go faster. "I.. y-yea..".

She felt the blood soak her clothing, and then her hands. She felt it but she didn't react. She didn't want to raise any worry when Omen and Raze are in pain too. But fuck did it sting. Cypher did teach Y/N how to patch up a bullet so when they get home that is what Y/N is doing immediately.

But.. that is what she will do if.. Cypher didn't grab her hand softly, entangling her fingers with his in such a perfect way that it didn't make sense. He had a wife, they shouldn't - but... it felt so right. It felt right that Y/N would have her head resting on his shoulder, it felt right that their fingers entangled themselves with one another. It didn't make sense.

Y/N shouldn't love him.

Not again.

Not after what he did to her but..

It feels so right.. like the way it felt right for Y/N to kill. Like she was meant to kill. Is there something wrong with Y/N? She can't tell anymore. With how her life is going she could guess that there are multiple things wrong with her.

"Hey, Puppet, c'mon we're here, let's go," Y/N nodded, she untangled her fingers with Cypher's as she quickly walked towards the common area where their rooms were. But she was greeted with a surprise.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Y/N was stunned for a second, her eyes widen as her breathing hitched a little. But all that seized when she smiled. "O-Oh! I wasn't expecting something like this for my first Mission.." Y/N blushed suddenly, huh.. odd, she usually wasn't the one to get flustered by people she knew. "It was Viper's idea". Yoru said as her eyes locked with his, he smiled softly. 'Cute smile..' Y/N thought, looking away and smiled.

"Raze and Omen got injured so-"

"WHADDYA MEAN?? I'm fine to party since Sage's here!" Raze's booming voice was heard across the large common area as Y/N looked over. She smiled, this was a great time to slip away and fix up her wound. So as everyone chatted she ran to her room and closed the door.

She softly sighed as she took off her working clothes, then back into casual bottoms, but she didn't put on her shirt yet, Y/N stared at the wound and touched it a little, she hisses at the pain as she sighed. Grabbing a cloth and putting it in her mouth, biting onto it as she grabbed another and wrapped it tightly above the wound. She slowly cleaned the wound with a cloth as she bit harder into the one she had in her mouth, muffled painful noises came out of her mouth.

"I'll help you with actually getting the bullet out".

A voice scared the living hell out of Y/N as she screamed - but it was muffled, she looked up and saw Yoru there, "wha- do you know how to knock?!". Y/N yells as Yoru rolls his eyes, "don't be like that, I know how to actually get the bullet out, I'll do it but we'll need to transfer you to the medical room, they have the right things I need to do it," Y/N blinked, Yoru really did seem like he cared and he really did want to help, Y/N softly sighed, "then let's go".

Putting on a shirt first to not raise suspicion, the both of them made their way to the medical room where Y/N got treated by Yoru. "I knew something like this would happen on your first mission, so I wasn't surprised that you would hide it from us". Yoru softly said as he closed the door and got everything ready, the syringes, the bandages and the cleaning supplies, Y/N sat there, embarrassed, Yoru turned to look at her, his eyes dark yet comforting, his blue clothes didn't outshine his eyes however, it made his shine even more.. "are you gonna show me the wound or just sit there and let me rip that shirt- rip a hole in the sleeve of that shirt to see it".

Her face turned red, she took off her shirt quickly and turned so her wounded arm was facing Yoru, but as she examined his face she could tell a soft blush appear on his face. She didn't want to, but a small soft smile appeared on her face on it's own.

"I think I can do that, Yoru".

The heavily accented voice of Cypher appeared at the door as Yoru - with an annoyed look, looked over at Cypher, "I was taught by Sage how to do this in the most comfortable way, I don't know who taught you but I would consider with your background it would not be comfortable". He hisses as Cypher shook his head. "You might forget to do a step - here, just let me do it-".

"Just let Yoru do it, Cypher, I'll.. be fine". Cypher stared at Y/N's eyes with a 'are you sure with that decision?!' Type of look as Y/N nodded, Cypher huffs softly and walks out of the door, not before looking at Yoru with a strong look in his eyes, almost saying, 'this is war' Y/N sighs.

There was only one question in her mind -

'Why her?'
