Negative sentences in Chinese (>﹏<)
In this section, I am going to discuss about making negative sentences in Chinese, using (不) and (没)。

不 negates an action both in the present and future time. With 不，it can mean "do not want to do" or "do not intend to do".
The sentence pattern is
Subject + 不 +Verb
老师 明天 不 来。
不 can also negates the habitual actions such as eating fruits, watching TV, drinking milk and so on. The pattern is to simply put 不 in front of the verb.
Subject + 不 + Verb + Object
我不吃巧克力。
不 negates the adjectives too.
The pattern is
不 + Adjectjve
你不胖。
不 can be used in asking the affirmative_negative questions. The pattern is
Subject + Verb + 不 + Verb + Object?
你爱不爱我？
不 can also be used in tag question that is positive-negative question form. This is similiar to the English "OK?" or "right?"
好不好?
对不对?
没 negates the past actions or the actions that have not happened yet. The pattern is
Subject + 没 + Verb + Object
我昨天没吃苹果。
Here，不 can be used in the place of 没 if we left out the past indicator "昨天(yesterday)".
我不吃苹果。
For the verb 有 ，only the 没 can negate it, meaning "do not have". The pattern is
Subject + 没有 + Object
我没有钱。
For the certain verb like 是 and 在，only 不 can be used to negate them.
她不是我妈妈。✅
她没是我妈妈。❌
爸爸不在家。✅
爸爸没在家。❌
