“Two guys had brought guns in, and they were demand money, jewellery – anything they’d be able to pawn off at a pawn shop. The help guns to the audience’s heads as they, one by one, had gotten all of their money and stuff out. They started with them first, before moving up to the stage where we were performing before they came in. One of them had pulled a necklace of my neck and started searching the two pockets in my dress; the other man had been going through Archer’s pockets, front and back, looking for a wallet.” She took another moment to catch her breath. “But the police had other ideas. They had arrived while they were going through his pockets. They had demanded that they both put their weapons down and they’d come quietly. They thought wrong. The man or Archer’s side... h-he pulled the trigger. People from the audience screamed. The other man with me put his finger on the trigger. She’ll be next he had said, same as him the other added. But the police had a man on one of the balconies with a sniper gun. He shot Archer’s killer in the chest, which had killed him, and shot the other man with me twice in the arm. The gun had gone off but only a click sounded. His gun hadn’t been loaded. I had kneeled down next to Archer’s body. No heartbeat. No pulse. I remember I started crying. The first man I ever loved died.” Her eyes had filled with tears, one sliding down her cheek as she remembered what had happened. “His family held a funeral for him after he was released from the morgue. I attended it. Photos of him from when he was younger were there too, which had made me smile sadly. The day after I left Las Vegas and I had met one John Winchester. He was hunting a vampire in the area. But I had got to him first. He was dead on the ground. He was about to try and kill me until I explained my past...” She looked up at me. I.. I guess those are good reasons... but how did you do it? Resist the urge to kill anyone in a 100m radius? I learned it from my father. "No," Learn to live with knowing someone you loved died in front of you?” “I think it’s because I know he wouldn’t want to see me grieving after him all these years. I still think about him and at sometimes I do cry, but I know he’d want me to be happy.” The squealing of car brakes had stopped her from finishing. The Impala was parked in the middle of the road, with Sam and Dean coming out, loaded with silver bullets that they forged by themselves I’m guessing, dead man’s blood, machetes. Everything they knew could kill a vampire. You two again...time for round two. Stay back girl, siding with either of us is going to get you killed.
