5 DAYS LATER

Another day past, another dead creature. I sat on bobby's lounge studying the bookshelf across the room. Every shelf filled with lore on supernatural beings. "Hey guys, me and Sam are going to get some pie, and see if we can scavenge us a job." I gave a slight chuckle. You and pie Dean seriously you'd find any excuse under the sun to get a pie. "Shade, you are absolutely correct and for that you get a pie as well." Whatever, but don't forget, by tomorrow...I'm gone for good. Dean gazed at me for a second then walked out to the Impala with Sam. What's with everyone recently...is this like an "all you can eat week" or something. I went back to staring at the bookshelf as Rox walked into the room. I glanced at her for a second then looked away to avoid eye contact. Not long after this i could feel her stare as she looked at me from the doorway. You just gonna stand there girl or are you gonna take a seat. I could sense her stare become a slight frown before she took a seat in an armchair that was sitting next to the couch which i was now lying on. I sat up and looked at her. You're no ordinary vamp aren't you, I mean you hunt with whom you should be running from, You're dating an angel and you ride around on a Harley not to mention that pea shooter of yours that you carry in your back pocket. I held up her 9mm and her eyes suddenly lit up. "How'd you do that." I have my secrets, Isn't that what they say, a magician never reveals their secrets. For once she gave me a proper smile and nodded. I handed her the gun and she put it down on the coffee table next to her.Her eyes flickered over to me several times before I decided to ask her something that had been on my mind for a few days. Listen...umm.. I got something to ask. She focused her gaze on me. “I’m waiting.” I chuckled at her impatience. At the warehouse, when you came in why did that guy call you Sharleen? She, rolled her eyes. “If you must know, Sharleen Cassidy-Roxanne Haven is my birth name, ”  She looked off slightly. “I haven’t been called Sharleen in a while...” That’s a pretty long name... and yet it suits you perfectly. I heard her scoff. “You really think that suits me?” I nodded in response. “Thanks. It’s sweet to hear that.”  Thanks I guess. We stayed in silence for a few minutes before another question floated to the front of my mind. Your family. Where are they? She smiled slightly. “My mother lives in Britain, with my two half-brothers. Her first husband was killed in a robbery after WW1. After WW2 she was saved by my father from a mugger.” So is your mother... old? She burst out laughing, while I laid there confused. Her laughing fit only lasted for about a minute before she answered my question. “No. No she isn’t. My mother is an immortal, and the half-brothers are too. They’re all older than me.” I nodded at her again. Sounds like a fun family. I felt jealousy within myself. You’re lucky to have them..."Well what about you? What's your family like?"

I barely knew my folks...they died not long after I rebelled against my tribe. "I'm sorry to hear that" She moved over to the couch and sat beside me, then out of nowhere she hugged me. W-What was that for. "You looked like you needed it." Thanks. "Wait you're part demon right, wouldn't you be possessing someone?" I looked at her and shook my head. Since I'm not fully demon I have to ask for permission to enter a body like an angel does but this is what I really look like...So no I'm not using a body. "What's your last name, everyone just calls you shade but surely you have a surname" My surname? It's Bloodstone. She took a glance at the Porsche 918 Spyder. "Didn't you have a Carrera GT before that one?" I still do, the car is a mirrormorpher, like my gun. She looked back at me. "I've always wanted to ask..why'd you rebel against your tribe back then?" I won't lie Rox, I hated the way the elders treated us...They would use us like slaves then take all the credit. Most of the tribe agreed with me so I formed an alliance and planned how we would pull it off for months. During that time I forged these fist blades and fused them with my hands. I extended one of the blades from my hands and ran my fingers gently down it's razor sharp edge before retracting it again. These very blades killed all of the elders and their army of nightshade spirits. I was the only one to survive then after that I ran for it. I've been hunting ever since. "What an interesting story Shade, thanks." She smiled at me. Well I guess I'll leave you to it th... In an instant Rox leaned over and kissed me almost as if she didn't want me to leave her. "Shade, I really like you...alot." She kissed me again but this time I stopped her. Rox turned around to see Cass standing in front of us with an angel knife...
