ENEMIES TO LOVERS (PETER MAXIMOFF X READER, X-MEN)

Breakfast was at 8 am and at 9 the classes started so I got dressed and went to breakfast. I sat down with the guys and just listened at their conversations. I was still really tired and didn't really talk much. Of course Peter and Scott weren't their and were probably still in bed.

After breakfast it was almost 9 already so you went to Charles his office, where he told you to meet him today and you knocked. "Ah y/n, are you ready for today?" He asked you when you opened the doors. "I guess so" You said. "What exactly are we gonna do?" You asked. "Well you could start with telling me if you ever had, a feeling of your power, or a glimp of it, or a dream even maybe" Charles said and he pointed to the seats in front of him. You sat down and thought for a second. "Just, any power or?" You asked him. "Yes anything, anything you could think of" He said. "Well uhm, I had a dream a few days ago" You said. "What kind of dream was it? Like, what kind of powers did you have?" He asked you. "Uhm some sort sword and something that looked like telekinesis I guess or something?" You said. "But it was very blur I can't really remember it" You said. "A sword and telekinesis?" He asked. "Yeah- sort off- I guess" You said. "Interesting" He said. "Did anything else happen? Besides the dream? In real life?" He asked you. "Uhm, no not really" You said. "Huh" Charles said.

"Is it weird that I don't have my powers yet?" You asked. "No of course not, it doesn't happen much but, usually the power comes with a lot of stress or just puberty, so, I'm sure it'll come some time, I'm just trying to figure out, what it is" Charles said. "Okay" You said. "You can go to class now" He said so you stood up and went to class.

When I found the class I walked in and sat down. The class was the history and legends of mutants or something.

When class was over I got a text from my mom.

'Hey!! How's the school??'

'It's great!'

'When are you coming over again?'

'I don't know I'll see when I can'

'👍🏻'

I sighed and walked to the next class, English. I walked in and saw Jubilee so I sat down next to her. "Hey" You said. "Hii" She said. "How was it with the professor?" She asked. "Oh he just asked if I had any dreams or glimp's or feeling of my power" You said. "And?" She asked. "I told him about the dream I had but- that wasn't very useful I think" You said. "What kind of power did you have in your dream? If you don't mind me asking of course" She said. "It's fine, it was some sort of sword and something that looked like telekinesis but I don't know" You told her. "Oh damn" She said and then the professor came in and started teaching.

He was reading some thing and asked a question about it. Almost everyone pulled their hand up including Jubilee, but then Hank and some other dude with blond kinda long hair walked in. "And that is a question for tomorrow, class dismissed" The professor said when he saw them.

Jubilee and me both walked out of class. "Who was that?" You asked. "Alex Summers, Scott's brother" Jubilee said. "He comes here often" She said. "Oh" You said. Jubilee and you both walked to lunch and sat down with everyone. Peter and Scott were there now too. Scott looked very hung over, which he probably was. But Peter looked fine already. "What's your brother doing here?" Jean asked Scott. "I don't know probably a question for the professor or just here to be an asshole" He said.

You talked for a while and then Jubilee suddenly noticed Peter didn't look hangover at all. "Why aren't you hangover?" She asked Peter. "I don't know" He said and put his shoulders up. "Maybe it's because he's fast, so like he heals faster too or something?" Ororo said. "Well that's good to know, just become drunk without having a hangover" Peter said and everyone looked at him sternly. "Or maybe not" He said and ate a Twinkie

You had a break right now so you just sat in the living room, then Jubilee just walked in. "Okay you didn't hear this from me, but" She said and sat down next to you. "I heard that- okay wait do you know Mystique and Magneto?" She asked you. "Yes?" You said. "Okay good so I heard that they were like, a thing a while back, like before this was even a school" She said. "Really?" You asked her. "Yes!" She said. "No way!" You said. "Oh my god now I can just imagine them doing it, ew no please" You said and Jubilee laughed. "Anyway what are you up too?" She asked you. "I don't know to be honest" You said.

After a while you had to go to class again and apparently we all had the same class, at least that's what Jubilee said. She said something about, fight class or something. "Something like P.E. I guess" She said. We all went to the room we had to be and walked in. She was right, everyone from our friend group was there.

Peter and you made eye contact when you walked in but you looked away immediately. The professor was their with Hank. "Today we are gonna work on using our powers" The professor started. "Well I guess I'll just stay on the side then" You whispered to Jubilee and she laughed softly.

Hank explained all the rules and stuff. He told everyone to pair up and the professor called you to come with him. You followed him to the other side of the room. "Here" He said and he threw a sword to you. You nearly caught it. "I- what am I supposed to do with this?" You asked. "Fight" He said. "I don't- I don't know how to fight with a sword?" You said. "Just do whatever comes up in you, or what you did in your dream perhaps?" He said. "I didn't fight in my dream, I got there after the fight" You told him. "Just do what you feel like is right" He said. "Okay well UhM, to what am I gonna, fight?" You asked. Then Hank walked over. "Him" The professor said. You looked confused at Hank. "I took a few lessons once" He said. "So you do know how to fight with a sword?" You asked. "Well, sort of" Hank said. "Alright then" You said.

"You start the attack" Hank said after you two got in the right position. "Okay" You said with some doubt in your voice. The professor looked at you and Hank from the side.

You started attacking him and Hank needed a lot of effort to keep blocking you, when you put the sword towards his face he put his sword up so his whole chest and side were exposed, so you put your sword there and then you stopped. "Damn, that was, good, like, really good" He said. "You sure you didn't do this before?" He asked.
"I- I don't- I never did this before no" You said and were surprised by what you just did yourself too.

Jean and Jubilee were a pair and were looking at what you were doing. "She's good with that sword" Jean said and Jubilee agreed.

Then the professor came to you and Hank again. "Wauw that was good y/n, I'm impressed" He said. "Thanks" You said still surprised.

The class was over after a while so you walked over to the guys and you all walked out together. "Why did you never tell us you knew how to fight with swords?" Jubilee asked you suddenly. "Well, I don't" You said. "You don't? Then how did you do that whole thing with Hank? That wasn't just a beginner thing" Jean said. "Maybe just luck?" You suggested. "It probably was, I mean there's no way your that good at first try" Peter said from in front of us. "Thanks?" You asked as it kinda was a complement but also kinda wasn't.

You didn't really think much of the whole sword thing and just forgot about it.

The classes were all done and it was about 4 pm now.

Jean went to the garden, Jubilee and Ororo went to the library and Kurt and Peter went to their room.

You walked to your room and you suddenly saw Vera again. "Hey Vera" You said to her and she turned around and waved. "How was your day?" You asked. She looked at her hand and pointed at my forehead so you nodded and leaned down for her to reach my forehead. She touched it and we were in that same field again. "It was good" You heard from behind you so you turned around and saw Vera. "That's good" You said. "So do you have any other powers from this one?" You asked her. "Well when people are in here I can read minds and control them" She said. "Oh" You said surprised. "Can you only go here with other people?" You asked her. "No, I can also go here alone" She said. "It's pretty cool, just a place where you can go any time you want, away from everyone" You said. "Yeah but it still sucks" She said. "Yeah I get that" You said. Then suddenly we were back in the hallway. Vera waved at you and you waved back and smiled, then she walked away and you went into your room.
