ENEMIES TO LOVERS (PETER MAXIMOFF X READER, X-MEN)

You couldn't sleep anymore so you just stayed up al night. When it was time to go to breakfast you got dressed and went to the dining room. Everyone was already there so you just sat down with them. They were already in a conversation. "It wasn't me" Jean said. "Then who was it?" Scott asked. "Her" Jean said and looked at you. "You? I thought you didn't have your powers yet?" Peter said. "What?" You asked. "The shaking" Jubilee said. "Oh, that" You said. Ororo saw that you didn't want to talk about it so she changed the subject and get went on to talk about that.

You suddenly heard someone call your name softly, you looked around the room but saw no one. "Behind you" You heard the voice say and you looked behind you. Somewhere behind an other group of children, the same woman as in your dream was standing there. 'Am I hallucinating now too?' You thought. The woman just stood there and looked at you. It made you very uncomfortable so you stood up and left to your room.

They looked at you leave and looked confused at each other. "What's with her?" Scott asked. "No idea" Kurt said. "I don't know" Jean said. "Why don't you just read her mind to see?" Scott asked Jean. "I can't" She said. "You can't?" Peter asked. "No, I can't see into her mind for some reason" She said. "You still can't?" Jubilee asked. "What do you mean 'still'?" Kurt asked. "The night you two got drunk I also couldn't read her mind" Jean explained. "Okay that's weird" Peter said. "Maybe that's her power?" Ororo suggested. "To block minds and too make houses shake?" Jubilee asked . "I mean Jean made the house shake before right" Kurt said. "With my telekinesis" Jean said. "So blocking minds and telekinesis?" Peter said. "Maybe we should just ask her?" Kurt asked. "I don't think she even knows" Jean said and looked at the door you had just walked out.

You were in your room and you suddenly realised, if you're a mutant one of your parent must have been a mutant right? And for as far as you knew your mom wasn't one. So your father must have been one. Your mom never really told you anything about your father. She always said it was just a one night stan thing and that she forgot what his name was. You never really missed the father figure in your life but it would still be nice to know who he was.

You were still confused about why you were hallucinating but you just decided to ignore it, as far as you could. You looked at the clock and saw that you were late to the professor his class.

You walked in the classroom and sat down. "You're late y/n" The professor said. "Yes I know I'm sorry" You said. He sighed. "Open your book and read page 55" He said and you did so.

When the class was over Jubilee and Ororo walked over to you while you were packing your things. "Why did you suddenly leave at breakfast?" Jubilee asked and you looked up. "I uh, I just didn't feel so good" You lied, you didn't want them to think you were crazy with seeing that stupid woman. "Are you okay?" Ororo asked. "Yeah I'm fine now" You said. "If anything is wrong you can tell us, you know that right?" Jubilee said and you laughed. "There is really nothing you guys, don't worry" You said. They looked at each other for a second. "Okay then" Jubilee said and you all walked to the next class.

"Wait I forgot my book" You said and realised you only had the book for professor X his class. They said they would wait in the class room. You were on your way to your room but you suddenly saw the woman again and didn't pay attention to were you were going. Then you bump into someone and you looked up and saw, Peter, of course. "You gonna apologise?" He said. "You could have gone out of the way too" You said and looked at him. "How was I supposed to do that?" He asked. "You got superspeed dude you could have just boom speedy other way" You said. "Well I didn't see you so" He said. "Well then technically we both bump into each other so you should apologise too" You said and you suddenly felt some wind but he still stood there. "What did you just do?" You asked. "Nothing" He said but his face just screamed that he was lying. You just looked at him for a while. "You're so weird" You said and walked past him.

You got your book from your room and turned around to walk out again but the woman was standing there again. You took a deep breathe and closed your eyes. "Okay your an hallucination, just leave" You said and when you opened your eyes again she was gone. You sighed and went to class.

The next class after the break was the fighting thing again, you still didn't really know the names of the classes but you didn't really care. You went there and walked in. 10 minutes after the class started Scott and Peter still weren't there. Hank was explaining what we were gonna do today and then Peter came in. "Peter class started 10 minutes ago" Hank said. "Hey it's not my fault Scott fell off the stairs" He said. "You pushed him didn't you?" Hank asked. "Yeah I totally pushed him" Peter said with a slight smirk and some people laughed under their breathe. Then Scott came in while breathing heavily. "Just, never mind, we're doing hand to hand combat today" Hank told them. "Cool" Peter said. "Yeah, Peter your paired with y/n, and Scott you can go to Jubilee" He said. "I'm sorry what" Peter said. "Huh?" You said. "You and Y/n are paired" Hank said to Peter and walked away. "Yeah no I heard you bu- J- I- okay-" He said and turned to me. You sighed and looked at Peter. "Don't use your powers" You said. "Why not?" He asked. "Because it's hand to hand combat" You said. "So?" Peter asked. "What, are you scared you can't win without your power?" You asked him. "I could easily win from you without anything" He said. "Yeah right" You said. "Proof it then" You added. "You might wanna take out your gum" You said when he got in place. "I don't need to take out my gum" He said. "Okay-" You said.

"Okay you can start" Hank said. "Well you gonna do anything speedy boy?" You asked him and he threw a punch but you ducked and tackled him. "Looking good man" Scott said from next to us. "Shut up" Peter said to him and got up again. "That wasn't fair" He said. "How is it not?" You asked. "I don't know, but it wasn't" He said. "Because I won?" You asked and he thought for a second. "Yeah" He said. "Wauw" You said.

Then you threw a punch at him but he blocked it and threw a punch at you and you blocked it so he gave another punch in your side on the other side which made you fall on the ground with one knee and then he kicked you on the back of your other knee so now you were on your knees and he walked in front of you again. "Told you I could win" He said and you looked up and smiled. "Why are you smiling, stop that" Peter said and you grabbed his ankles and pulled them so he fell on his back which made him choke on his gum so he coughed a few times.  "Auw" He said. "Guess we're even now" You said and got up again. "I'm enjoying this way to much" You said and laughed a bit. "Haha very funny" Peter said. "Yeah exactly" You said.

He got up again and slapped you in the face. "Okay ouch" You said. "Always keep your hands up to block" He said with a smirk and then you kneed him in his balls. "Ah! Okay that definitely wasn't fair" He said with pain in his voice and you laughed. "I know I just wanted to do that like ever since I met you" You said.

This went on for a while until class was over. "Who taught you to fight so dirty" Peter asked you at the end of class. "I have my ways" You said. "Okay I don't like that your so mysterious" He said and you chuckled and walked out of the room. Then he turned to Kurt who was standing behind him. "I don't like her being so mysterious" He said. "Don't you, not like her, in general?" Kurt asked. "Well yeah but still" He said. "Oh" Kurt said.

Kicking Peter in his balls legit made your day better. 

The woman kept randomly showing up but never really did anything else, it was probably just an hallucination, it'll pass, right?

Today we had to make a test about this Almada person, so you walked into the class and sat down behind Jean and next to Jubilee. Ororo and the guys had another class right now.

When we all got out test we could start. Most of the question you knew but some of them were hard, one of those questions was 'What were Almada her last known words?'

'Amateurs' Suddenly shot in your head, you didn't know why but you just put that in. After the class we all walked out of the classroom.

When you opened your door from your room and walked in you saw the woman again, but now she was holding the soul sword again. "Take it, and know your power. It's getting stronger." She said with an old British accent. "What?" You asked but she had already disappeared again.

You never realised how pretty the woman was. She had long red hair, light green eyes, freckles and looked about 21/22.
