Lucy or Luke

Chapter 9

Lucy's POV

Slipping my mask on I walked up to my parents. We chatted for a bit until they told me to go talk to someone else. To be social.

Walking off I found a boy kinda looks like he was my age. He was wearing black pants and a light blue shirt. I couldn't tell exactly how old he was because of the mask but he had light pink hair like Natsu.

Nustu... No I'm not going to think of him right now. I'm going to have fun and pretend I havent fallen in love with my idiot roommate.

Hey I said gently

Wait I don't want to know. Let's just keep this night a mystery

Natsu's POV

I chuckled at this girl. She's really nice maybe she can get my mind off of Luke...

Do you want to walk around Her voice brought me out of my thoughts

Playing it off cool I just shrugged and followed her as she led me out of the dancing area. Looking down I noticed that she had my hand.

She has blonde hair... Like Luke's. Why can't I get him out of my mind. I'm not into guys. I'm not. So why can't I focus on this girl rather than him.

Looking at my surroundings I was faced with family photos lining the wall. The mystery girl was looking at me.

Bringing my eyes back to the wall I couldn't help but notice a girl that looked a lot like Luke. Probably his sister he mentioned. But next to her was a guy.

They looked almost identical except he had shorter hair and blue eyes.

Who's that guy? I've never seen him before.

Her face went from being happy to having a small sad smile.

That's my brother. He passed away.

Oh what was his name

Luke. His name was Luke.

Luke! How could it be Luke? Luke was here tonight, and had brown eyes, and and was alive

How did he die?

Something clicked in my mind. She said it was her brother which would make her Lucy....

Flashback

It was late August. Luke, Lucy and Gray were at the beach. The day was hot. They splashed around until it was dark. When it got dark they started messing around. Like found their parents alcohol and the three of them started drinking it.

In the haze of the alcohol at one point Luke decided to get back it the water. Any other time he wouldn't have because it was infested with sharks at night.

All Lucy and Gray heard was a scream. Then there was a blur of lights and blood. Next thing they new they were waking up at a hospital and Luke was dead.

End of flashback

Were you two close?

Ya people would always say we could be twins. He would always call me Luce...
But let's talk about something else.

So we did her and I spent the whole night together... But Luke was on my mind the would time. Im so confused.
