prison break!!

Before she knew it the guards were motionless on the ground. He didn't attack her

Her gaze was narrowed. She watched him, watiting to see what he'd do. She held her sword expertly.

He stretched and glanced at her unconcerned. "Need me to carry you upstairs child? " it had felt good to do that to the guards.

"No, are they dead?"

He turned and left

She walked over to the guards and checked their pulses first

They were faintly beating.
He'd left them alive for her

She felt relieved. She left the key with them and then followed him up the stairs. walking up was more painful then she thought, but she grit her teeth and didnt say anything

He walked up and at some point the guards were to scared to touch him. He could easily take them down.
The guards instead ran away

She moved up the stairs quickly after Rahadin. gaining on him easily. She walked beside him "seems like plenty f people remember you, despite you saying you were forgotten"
she sounded very slightly out of breath, but hid it pretty well

"You keep what you want to forget you of sight and out of mind. "He put his hand to her back giving her a gentle push up the stairs

Elvira was grateful for the help but didnt say anything. "whats your plan? walk right out of here?"

Leran stood at the stop of the top of the stairs and for a moment it seemed like he was in Rahadin's way.

Hm, fight anyone who's in my way more sort of plan." He explained.

Elvira looked up at Leran "sounds foolish. Dont touch him." she nodded toward Leran

He recognized that Leran was a Vistana and had no interest in harming him. "Of course not. He's a Vistana."

That seemed to annoy her slightly

Vistani were the favored ppl of Strahd and this is like Strahd's right hand man. He seemed amused "what irks you child? " he paused and looked at Leran "Vistana boy go and steal a guy from a guard. Let out all the Vistani they have locked up here. It's disgusting what they've done locking them up like animals"

"Leran wait." Elvira said.

Leran paused for a moment. The tower was in total chaos. This was the perfect time

She looked at the elf "Look you may have been in charge in the past, but you have no right going around and acting like the judge of the world. A lot of the Vistani here are probably innocent, but there may be some who are turly dangerous. If we let them out we may be causing more trouble than helping."

Leran ran off

Rahadin snorted at her remarks "oh child. "

She scowled. She shook her head and started to walk out of the prison

"Not sure how to take that." she kept walking, towards the exit

But a little more firm in reality than he was. But not too much Nessisaryly. " He laughed "thank you for being so productive for me today child. Need you ever a bed your invited to the castle" He let go of her and started to leave. Blending into the crowd getting lost within it.

Elvira looked back at him. She wondered how bad letting him go was... Probably very bad. She wanted to go straight to the castle for answers. She was frustrated and angry. Clearly no one saw the danger here but her. No one was thinking before acting. She was about to turn and leave Leran behind and just go to the castle, but then hesitated. Leaving him behind to deal with this on his own seemed cruel. She closed her eyes and huffed. She turned back around and waited outside for Leran, lsitening for any calls for help.

Leran had found a key from a passed out guard and had let out his sister and friends and the rest of them were letting out more vistani.

Now that Rahadin was gone the guards were much braver. Hey stop that! " a guard yelled

Leran ran and threw the key to the prisoner so he could keep distracting the guard and the vistani could focus on getting out. It seemed to all go so well until he tripped and face planted. He scrambled to get up. His nose was bleeding. He was more panicked now.

Elvira ran over and helped him up. "How many more are there?"

His sister and another vistani swung a chair at the guards head who was chasing Leran

Elvira launched to her feet and grabbed the chair before it hit the guard "run." she told the two vistani

The guard punched Leran running past the girls

Lerans sister looked so frustrated "What is wrong with you?! "

Elvira tossed the chair aside and shoved the gaurd away from Leran. She ignored the sister.

The guard kicked her hard happening to hit again in her ribs.

Elvira let a swear word escape her lips LOUDLY. She twisted and kicked the guard where the sun dont shine and then followed it with a punched to the jaw

The other vistani had set the rest of the vistani free. "Everyone get out!! "

Elvira shoved the gaurd back again and then turned, Grabbed one of lerans arms and helped pull him out

Leran pushed his sister to run and go. He the ran behind her but looked back at Elvira

Elvira checked to make sure all the vistani were out and then ran after them "straight to your clan." she told Leran quickly. "dont stop for anything."

Leran turned and ran off. He wasn't sure what he thought of Elvira. She was confusing.

Elvira followed Leran and the others to theri clan.

Halfway to walking Leran stopped and looked at Elvira he seemed a little weary of her. "I promised id take you to the castle. We were gonna look for something. I'm sorry I forgot"

She shrugged and said nothing. She leaned against a tree, trying to breathe. A small look of pain twisted her features. One she caught her breath enough, she lifted up her shirt to look at her ribs. Already horribly purple and yellow bruises were covering her side. She took one look and dropped her shirt again. great. A few were definitely at least cracked. That would take a couple days to heal, faster if she could get enough rest, but with how things were going these days, that didnt seem likely.

Leran stopped talking and stared. He took her hand "come home with me and I'll travel and find the herbal makers in a nearby clan
It'll help." He wanted to help make things better inside his heart. He didn't think with his head he just took action.

She resisted a bit "Im going to the castle"

".... Ok Then I'll go with u" he said

"what about your sister?" she wasnt necessarily opposed to him coming. She just didnt think he was thinking this through. And she was a little angry with him, but that was slowly turning into resignation

He paused and thought about it "well she's safe so.. " he said sheepish

"and you dont want to catch up with her?" she raised an eyebrow

"She's just gonna hug and touch me and not leave me alone" he complained

Elvira sighed. "do you really want to come that much?"

He nodded

She gave in. "fine. We'll leave in an hour or two. Go grab anything you may need and say good bye to your sister so she doesnt feel abandoned"

He didn't really seem to think much through. More just did stuff based on how his heart felt
