The next morning Alora woke up in a bad mood thanks to the events of last night. She felt humiliated. She was on her knees about to please him and he got up and left; proving to her that she was just a plaything to him.

She walked into the kitchen expecting to find Padme was shocked when she was no where to be found. Instead, a note sat on the countertop. 'I was called in for an emergency meeting at the Jedi council. Head to the senate building when you are up. I will debrief you there.'

Alora frowned slightly at the note, feeling a bit apprehensive on the nature of this so called emergency meeting. But nevertheless, she had a brief snack before going to get dressed for the day. She dressed herself in a little black dress that was sleeveless and had a tulle skirt. Simple but she dressed it up with lots of pink jewelry and pink shoes. She curled her hair and braided two front pieces back, leaving a few pieces out frame her face before placing a gold wire head band on the top of her head.

"Captain Typho, could I get a ride to the senate building?" She asked the guard waiting in the platform. He nodded and helped her inside the speeder before speeding off to the senate building.

The blonde took her time walking to her sisters office, dreading whatever was in store for her throughout the day. However, when she finally reached the office she was surprised to not only see Padme but also Anakin and Obi Wan sitting in there waiting for her. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she entered cautiously, feeling all eyes on her. Alora also noted the tension and apprehension in the air.

"What is going on? What did I do?" Alora started, getting a little nervous.

"You did nothing actually, for once in your life. But we have much to discuss and it's very important so I'm going to need you to be mature for once." Padme snipped.

"Miss. Amidala, have you ever heard of or met a man named Rush Clovis? He's a Senator." Obi Wan started. Alora thought back to the first dinner party and the way she picked up weird vibes off the bat after meeting him.

"I've met him once." She admitted.

"Well theres a rumor- or theory I should say- that he is working secretly with the separatists." Obi Wan stated cautiously. Alora nodded slowly, confused as to why she was involved in anyway.

"That sucks and all but what does that have to do with me?" She asked.

"Because we need your help. The Jedi council has consulted me and asked if I could get close to him and get some information but unfortunately I am compromised when it comes to Clovis. Me and him have a...past." Padme cringed while Alora's jaw dropped open in shock.

"You-you had a boyfriend before? I'm in shock" Alora stated making her sister send her a glare.

"No he was not a boyfriend, more like a fling. But either way I ended it to focus on my work and he took it very bad. Therefore, I wouldn't be able to get anywhere because he wants nothing to do with me anymore. That's where you come in-"

"If you feel comfortable. We are in no way demanding or pressuring you into this." Anakin cut off, not wanting her to accept the mission that was about to be offered to her.

"What is going on?" Alora demanded once again on confusion.

"We need you to get close and spy on Clovis." Padme finished. "And yes, you don't have to but it would be highly helpful if you did. I know you can do it your a pretty girl and Clovis is a very simplistic man. We wouldn't put you in harms way, this is a simple gathering intel mission."

Alora pursed her lips as she thought about it. This was way out of her comfort zone. Not too long ago she was still out partying every night and not working for the galactic senate. Usually her work was simplistic but this was a mission. That's a lot of pressure. "I...can I have like an hour to think about it?" She asked wearily.

"Sure, you can come straight to the Jedi temple if you chose to accept and we can discuss in more detail." Obi Wan smiled as he stood up. Alora looked at Anakin who appeared quite tense and even angry. "I will be heading there now actually so I will see you in about an hour then Miss. Amidala."

"Call me Alora" The blonde smiled, feeling weird about the formalities. The Jedi master smiled back and simply nodded before leaving. Anakin stood up as well and gestured for Alora to meet him outside. She discreetly nodded.

"I'm going to head out too. Have a good day ladies." He said, glancing at Alora one more time before leaving and waiting behind a corner. Alora waited a few moments before telling Padme she had to use the restroom to 'clear her head and think' to which Padme happily urged her to do.

Alora left the office and looked around in confusion as she tried to spot Anakin. She walked forward down the hall a bit until hands pulled her in a small crevice away from cameras and deep enough so people would not see them unless they really looked. Anakin kept his hands on her waist as he stared down at her with an intense look in his eyes. "Alora I don't want you to do this mission. It's too risky."

Alora looked up at him in surprise as he was suggesting she declined the offer, an offer which would help the Jedi council in the war. "Anakin, that's not your decision" she answered.

"This is not your alley, you need to say no. I won't allow you to do it." Anakin crossed his arms in front of chest as he spoke. His heart was pounding at the mere thought of her accepting the mission.

"You won't allow me?" Alora scoffed, feeling herself get angry. "I'm sorry and who are you to make decisions for me?"

"I-" Anakin paused not really knowing what to say. "Im a Jedi." He settled with, knowing how lame that was.

Alora only laughed stiffly. "Ok and? This mission is actually right up my alley by the way, it's getting information out a guy. As much as I hate to admit it, I am perfect for the job."

"Im telling the council you say no" Anakin ignored her words and went to speak into his coms when Alora grabbed his arm angrily.

"No. You will not because I accept. You don't get to leave me alone last night and decide all of a sudden your my father. I am doing the mission and I couldn't give any less of a fuck how that makes you feel." Alora snapped angrily, shoving Anakin out of the way as she stomped back into Padme's room. "Im going to head to the temple. I am accepting."

"Im proud of you Alora. Make me more proud and have this mission- your first- be a success." Padme smiled, a genuine smile of pride. Alora nodded, forcing on a smile as she left to the hangar bay where Anakin stood.

"Alora listen to me-" he pleaded.

"Stop." She cut off sharply. "I'm busy."

"Well I sent Captain Typho home so looks like I'm your ride to the temple" Anakin smirked, knowing she had no choice but go with him.

"You-you" Alora started angry. She couldn't even speak properly at how mad she was.

"Get in before you I strap you in myself" was all Anakin said as he opened her side door. Alora huffed in annoyance but hopped in, strapping herself in and crossing her arms over her chest. "I can understand why you are upset about last night but duty calls, Alora. I told you I needed you when I was gone how could you think I willingly wanted to leave you there last night?"

Alora didn't want to speak. She sat quietly beside him, letting his words soak in. He did say he needed her. "And now your going to ignore me. Great. Well just so you know Clovis is a creep which is another reason I didn't want you doing it. Also because I-" Anakin paused holding back what he wanted to say. I don't want to see you with another man.

Alora looked at him impatiently. He just shook his head and cleared his throat. "Because I don't trust him." He stated instead. Alora once again ignored him and watched as they parked the speeder in the Jedi temple main hangar. Anakin hopped out and quickly helped Alora down, letting his hand linger on her waist once she was down.

The pair walked through the temple to the council chamber where Anakin notified Master Windu, Master Yoda, and Master Obi Wan about Alora's presence. They waited in silence until the masters showed up and sat down, patiently waiting to hear what the girl had to say.

"I accept your mission. But, considering I've never done anything like this, I'm going to need to be explained what I'm looking for and what it is exactly I'm trying to accomplish."
