The great duck invasion at U.A.

patience and chaos!

A/N: hey! Sorry I haven't updated for a while! I finally had some motivation to clean my room for the first time in over a year and so I finally finnished cleaning it! I think it looks really nice and I can finally walk on my actual floor instead of on a bunch of trash and broken stuff on my floor. I also wasn't sure what I wanted to do for this chapter so it took a bit of planning.  Anyways, I hope you enjoy! I'll try to get a draft ready in case I get too busy to write one again.

The dekusquad was ready to finally begin the prank. They each grabbed a can of the energy drinks Tsu bought on their trip to tne mall and drank some of it. Then, they each got a large bag that Iida bought so they could all return to Uraraka's dorm whenever they needed more and they filled up the bags with as many rubber ducks as they can.

Izuku was running to the caffeteria first, he wanted to get the largest area he was assigned to do first and get that out of the way so he could start working on classrooms and the storage closets, but most of all he really wanted to get started on Principal Nezu's office.

Why did Izuku want Principal Nezu's office so bad? Because he and principal Nezu were pretty close. Most of the school didn't know this, only the dekusquad, All Might, and Kacchan knew this. Still, Principal Nezu and Izuku started becoming close after All Might told him about one for all. Since then, Izuku and Nezu would talk like friends and would even pull small, harmless pranks on each other. Izuku knew about Nezu's past and Nezu knew about Izuku's past. That way, they wouldn't accidentally pull a prank that could trigger the other person in any way.

Otherwise, Izuku and Nezu had a very good teacher and student bond, and even a fairly good friendship! Plus, Izuku managed to find a special little rubber duck for all of his teachers. Kind of like the fairy duck he got for Eri. He found a little rubber duck with a tea cup for Nezu, A duck holding a cup of coffee for Aizawa, a duck with a microphone for Mic, and so fourth. He even got a special duck for Vlad King as well, since he was usually pretty nice to Izuku.

As Izuku was finnishing the tables in the caffeteria, Todoroki came to help him.

"Hello, Midoriya. I came to help since it seemed like you had the most to do compared to everyone else."

"Oh! Thank you Todoroki-kun! I was just Finnishing up the tables and I was going to get the rest of the caffeteria next! You can go ahead and start on that while I finnish up this table if you want!"

"That sounds fine, Midoriya."

As Todoroki and Midoriya worked on the caffeteria together, Uraraka was doing other things.

Uraraka floated another duck onto the outside windows of the school. This was fun! She was getting the hang of controlling where she wanted the ducks so go exactly, and she didn't get sick very easily since they were small objects rather than larger ones. As she finnished up with the windows, she headed back to the girl's dorms to scatter some ducks around there. She also managed to get some rubber ducks on a few of the balconies from the outside.

Tsuyu was having fun as well.

Tsu had already gotten the locker rooms outside the pool. Since no guys were in the locker room she went ahead in and placed the ducks in there. It wasn't any different from the girl's locker room, and again, since there were no guys in there it was no big deal. After she quickly finnished up the guy's locker room she did the girl's locker room and the pool. Then, went to help Uraraka.

Iida took his time at first.

Since he could very easily do both places he was assigned to quickly, Iida decided to take hus time placing the ducks in the front of the building and making it look nice, then he could quickly scatter them around the training grounds using hus quirk. Iida wanted the ducks to look like scattered wild flowers. Kind of like how dandelions will scatter out and grow in people's yards, or like wild daisies. He was having a lot of fun doing this. He wanted it to look this way because of the News reporters. They showed up almost every day in case something interresting happened. Tomorrow should be no differrent, and it would be a pretty bug news story.

Todoroki and Midoriya finally finished the entire caffeteria.

They had a lot of fun talking to each other as they did it, and Midoriya left to do principal Nezu's office. Leaving Todoroki to decide which classroom he wanted to do. He decided to do a second year teacher's classroom, and got to work with the rest of the rubber ducks he had left in his bag.

Izuku could finally do Nezu's office.

He found it very comforting. It always had the smell of differrent types of tea mixed together, and it always had a slight lavender smell as well. It was very relaxing. Izuku placed the rubber duck with the tea cup on Nezu's desk and quickly finnished the rest of tne medium-sized office room. Then he walked to class 1-A so he could do his own classroom.

Suddenly as Izuku was placing ducks in their classroom, Kirishima walked in.

"Uhhh- midobro, what are you doing?"

"Oh! Kirishima, what are you doing up?" Izuku asked, he walked over and picked up his energy drink, drinking the last of the first can and throwing it away as Kirishima answered him.

"I woke up and remembered I forgot my water bottle in the classroom. What are you doing and why are there rubber ducks everywhere!?" Kirishima asked, still confused by all the rubber ducks almost everywhere by now. It was 3AM and all he just wanted his water bottle. Part of him thought he was still dreaming. There were so many ducks he had given up trying to count them on his way here.

Izuku sighed.

"I guesses I have to tell you now, huh?"

"I mean yeah, it'd be nice for some context right now, midobro." Kirishima laughed, this was unexpected.

"Since it was Todoroki's birthday recently, we decided we wanted to prank everyone in U.A. so we decided to buy a bunch of rubber ducks and place them everywhere in U.A. by morning so everyone woke up to a bunch of rubber ducks everywhere."

"Whoa, that's crazy. So that's why so many packages arrived addressed to you?" Kirishima asked, already knowing the answer to his question.

"Yup! Hey, you want to help? You said you were used to pulling all nighters from middle school once, I am too so you can have my extra energy drink and we might get done a bit sooner with your help!" Izuku asked Kirishima, expecting him to say no. Instead, Izuku was suprised when kiri agreed to help them.

"Sure! I would get the whole bakusquad to help but Mina and Denks can't keep secrets, and bakugo would probably try to attack you, so you're stuck with just me!" Kirishima laughed after saying that, and Midoriya joined him. They both agreed to help eachother with the remaining classrooms, there were only a few left by now since the rest of the dekusquad had finished.

Midoriya and Kirishima joked around and laughed the rest of the night, and even talked about their own experiences in middle school to eachother, leaving out some parts, but managed to bond a little bit more, knowing they both had experienced being bullied.

And, soon enough, they had finished and had just enough time to slip back into the dorms, get about twenty minuites of sleep, and pretend to wake up just like everyone else. Izuku was glad he had Kirishima as a friend, and Kirishima was glad he had Midoriya as a friend.

As Izuku drifted off to sleep for the next twenty minuites, he thought about how lucky he was to have his friends, And how hillarious their reactions to his idea would be.
