The great duck invasion at U.A.

the day it happened - Izuku's POV

I woke up kind of tired and zoned out from the night before, it wasn't a huge deal though since I had stayed up like this quite a few times in middle school while studying. It most likely wasn't a good thing that I was used to pulling all-nighters, but whatever.

I looked over to my alarm clock to check the time, I had about thirty minuites to get ready. That was plenty of time. I quickly got dressed into my uniform and slipped on my shoes. I then grabbed my yellow backpack and headed to class.

I passed quite a few rubber ducks in the hallways, and even a few students with shocked and confused expressions. They were whispering to their little friend groups wondering what the heck was going on. If only they knew that it was my friends and I who put them there. (plus Kirishima, we can't forget about him, can we?)

I walked into my classroom. Most of the class was already there, the only people who were missing were Mineta (who was usually late, and made it just before Aizawa comes in anyways) and Kaminari. I'm pretty sure the two were hanging out all night in Kaminari's dorm playing video games, so that would explain why the two are late.

I sat down in my normal seat, and Mina came up to talk to me.

"Hey, Midoriya! Check the inside of your desk! There are rubber ducks everywhere and some people have special ducks! It's really weird, I wanna see if you got a special duck, too!" Mina seemed extremely energetic, most of the class did, actually. So, I tried to match their energy.

"Sure! I did notice there were a lot of rubber ducks around the school when I came in, even the dorms had a few rubber ducks in it! I wonder who did it?" I said, while smiling and grabbing the two rubber ducks I planted in my desk.

Mine was overall normal except the duck's beak was green instead of orange, and I planted Eri's in my desk as well with a note so it seemed less suspicious. As a pulled them out, mina looked confused.

"no fair! Why did you get two ducks??" She asked.

"Wait, I think I feel something on tne bottom of this one!" I said, flipping over Eri's duck. I pulled of the tiny piece of paper that read "for Eri :)" and handed it to Mina.

"Awwww! The person who did all of this even thought of Eri! Look!" She said, handing the paper back to me. I pretended to read it and looked back at Mina.

"How cute! I wish I know who did this so I could let them give the duck to Eri themselves!" I said, looking around to room like I was trying to figure out who it could be.

"Me too! We think someone in our class did it. How else would they know who Eri was, let alone that she was coming today?" Said Mina.

"True, Kaminari and Mineta are late today, but I don't think they did it, I could tell they we're gaming all night. Kacchan always goes to bed early, he could have been planning durring that time, but he wouldn't get any special ducks for anyone maybe sero? He could easily get to the places all of the ducks were at and..." I continued to pretend to mumble, though now that I think about it, there were a few different people in class 1-A who I could blame for this.

"Calm down Midoriya! There's cameras around the school! I'm sure they'll tell us who did it eventually!" Mina exclaimed "I'll talk to you later, Mineta and Kaminari just walked in so class is about to start!" She said, walking back to her seat. I sat the two ducks on top of my desk and waited until Mr. Aizawa walked in.

"Alright problem children, I'm sure you're all confused as to why there are rubber ducks everywhere. It seems someone has decided to prank us. Ther person who has done it has been narrowed down to a few different students in this class. I will start listing off the suspects. If I call your name, please stand up and go to Principal Nezu's office. Everyone else remain seated." Aizawa said. As everyone else in the room tensed up.Thinking they could be blamed for this.
