Reunion

"So do you have an actual plan for killing this thing?" Lilliana asked Loki as they walked behind Kid Loki and Classic Loki

"Get inside." Loki explained, "Find it's heart or brain or whatever and do it in. Just because it's not complicated doesn't mean it's bad."

"Right but is it going to kill you in the process?"

"Or you. You shouldn't have been dragged into this."

"Well I'm here now and I'm as determined as you."

"I need you to promise me something." Loki voiced in all seriousness

"What's that?" Lilliana asked

"Promise me if you're about to die you'll grab your wrist and go right back to Thor." Loki said. Lilliana hesitated and looked at him with her mouth open, trying to decide what to say. "Promise me."

Loki stopped walking and grabbed her shoulders to turned her to face him. With her stomach twisting, Lilliana replied "Okay, I promise."

"I have to say it feels odd walking towards the gargantuan creature." Classic Loki said reminding them to keep moving

"Are you sure about this?" Kid Loki asked once they reached the top of a hill

Gator Loki growled and Loki said, "See? he's on board."

"He's praying." Classic Loki corrected "He thinks we're going to die."

As if on cue a large naval ship dropped on the grassland in front of them. "Alioth is like any animal." Loki told them "He'll go after the big meal first and while he's busy with that we'll sneak around the back and-" Loki was interrupted by Alioth completely devouring the ship. Lilliana raised her eyebrows and looked at Loki trying not to smirk. "Okay, maybe we think more about this huh?"

"Car." Kid Loki said as he turned around

"What?" Lilliana asked

"Along the horizon." Classic Loki added

"Is that bad?" Loki asked

"Well, usually it means cannibalistic marauders or cannibalistic pirates." Kid Loki responded

"What about the cannibalistic Vikings?" Lilliana joked

"No, they live on the other side of the Void." Kid Loki said

"Delightful." Loki replied, "They're slowing down what are they doing?"

"Just stay on guard." Kid Loki commanded

Lilliana saw someone get out of the car. While she was trying to study them she heard Loki whisper "Sylvie" and run towards her so she followed. "You're alive." Sylvie said once they got to her

"What happened?" Loki asked her "Are you okay?"

"Mobius!" Lilliana said

Loki's face lit up and he said "How did you-"

"We thought you could use some backup." Sylvie interrupted

The group stared at each other in disbelief when the other Loki's came from behind them. Sylvie immediately began to approach them but Loki stopped her. "No, wait wait wait these are my friends," he explained, "Well they're how is it best to put this?"

"They're you." Lilliana told her

"Us as a child and us in the future and us as an alligator," Loki said pointing to Kid Loki Classic Loki and Gator Loki respectively "It's best not to question it."

"You throw a rock out here you hit a Loki." Mobius chuckled

"Oh, you have no idea." Lilliana added

"So you're all after the giant cloud monster too then?" Sylvie asked

"Well we haven't decided how we're going to kill it but-" Loki started

"Come again, kill it?" Sylvie interrupted

"Yes, we're going to kill Alioth." Loki answered

"But we're already on our nonexistent plan B so we're open to ideas." Lilliana added

"Wow, that was your plan?" Sylvie asked in shock

"Yep." Loki said

"And you all went along with it?" she ranted

"I had my doubts." Kid Loki responded as Classic Loki said "Probably unsafe."

"Alright well, what's your plan then?" Loki asked

"I think the person we're after is beyond the Void at the end of time. And if they are that thing is just their guard dog protecting the only way in." Sylvie explained

"Right but how do we get past the guard dog?" Lilliana asked

"I'm going to enchant it." Sylvie told them

Loki bent over with laugher. "It's not that bad." Lilliana said

"It's insane right?" Loki asked while looking at Lilliana

"As insane as what? Paper-cutting a cloud to death?" Sylvie quipped

"Listen I've been down here a bit longer than you and I-" Loki began

"I'm going to enchant it." Sylvie repeated

Loki looked at Lilliana then at Mobius. "She's pretty confident." Mobius told him

"Great now that we have a plan we need somewhere to camp out until we make our move." Lilliana said

"There's an old shack not far from here." Classic Loki suggested

"Perfect." Sylvie said as she turned and followed the Lokis and Mobius.

"What just happened?" Loki asked

Lilliana smiled and they filled in behind the group. "She definitely has your external confidence. I can see why you like her."

"I don't like her." Lilliana tilted her head and shot him a look as if to say 'really' "I don't. She's just- feels like someone I need. I can't explain it."

"So you love her?" she asked

"No, no." he said

"I think you do. You're denying it because- well I could make a whole list if I wanted to. You're scared, there are bigger things at stake at the moment, she doesn't want to be with you,"

"Alright, alright." Loki interrupted

"I will say it is a bit odd to fall in love with yourself. It's so mischievous and egocentric; so wrong that it's right. It also makes perfect sense." Lilliana explained

Loki sighed and looked back up at her before saying "I assume you're right."

"I bet you miss her already." Lilliana said

"Really?" Loki groaned

"Loki has a girlfriend Loki has a girlfriend." Lilliana teased in a sing-song voice

"Stop it." Loki told Lilliana as he hit her on the shoulder

Lilliana pushed his hands away from her and they both started laughing. "You know I kinda like this friendly, chaste Loki."

"Me too."
