Chapter 16 Lies

Jasmine's Pov 

We were all in shock especially Jack and I can understand how jack is feeling the only family he has left is dying and he couldn't do anything about it but Bella looked up and smiled and I knew that meant she had an idea

"Well I may have one idea your majesty" Bella said looking at me 

"Why are you looking at me" I said squeezing jacks arm

"Maybe if you get lokon close enough to the castle we could trap him" she said 

"No that's way to dangerous" jacks said as he stood up

"But its the only way for us to stop him" I said 

"And we do have to tell him the news" she said

"My answer is still no" he said with anger

"Jack please this is the only way to stop him from destroying the kingdom" I said begging really hard

"Okay fine" he said

"YES" I said happily

"But you have to promise me to come back ALIVE" he said pulling me towards him

"You got your nerve" I said

"Hey do this when I'm out of the room" Bella said as she covered her eyes

Me and jack laughed then we discussed the rest of the plan and and got the gates ready and the whole time I could tell jack was upset with the news but I told him "as long as I'm with you it will be okay" he smiled brightly 

"Okay ready" bella said ready throw me put the window in town square 

"READY" everyone said as the stood in position

"Fire" I said as I was thrown out the window

I landed in town square and I didn't see anyone but then I heard a thud come from behind me I turned around and saw lokon standing there breathing hard like he just got done running 

DL "what are you doing out here princess" he said smiling 

"I don't maybe your going to have to find out" I said getting ready to run

DL "ready for round 2" he said getting ready to fight 

"Well your gonna have to catch me first" I said as I started running 

I ran as fast I as I could and I knew that he was following me because I heard screaming coming from behind me so when I saw the castle in the distance I slowed down a little and so did he

DL "looks like I caught you princess" he said ready to grab me 

"I don't think so" I said as a rope pulled me up 

"Close the gates" I yelled

The gates closed then the room went dark then one light came on and under it was a table with a piece of paper sitting on it then lokon changed and picked it up and that's Jacks cue to start talking 

"What is this supposee to mean" he said holding the paper

"It means that father lied to us both" jack said standing in the dark

"What are you talking about" he said 

"What am I talking about oh that mother was a human" jack said as he threw down a picture 

"Do you remember that photo brother" he said 

"Yes that was the day other and father got married and needed a family photo" lokon said 

"Well do you remember these words father said to me" jack said as he threw down a journal

Lokon opened the journal and Jack told him to read the sentence that was bold printed out loud so that he could hear it 

"LISTEN TO YOUR BROTHER JACK BEYOND OUR PLANET ITS DANGEROUS" lokon said loudly

"Okay what is this supposed to mean" he said confused

"It means that father lied because when he said that I believed him ever since but when I found out that mother was a human I was devastated" jack said coming into the light 

"Your a liar there is no evidence on how she could be human" lokon said yelling

"Well let me explain" jack said as he slipped back into the dark 

"I thought to myself why would father chose me after you have practiced so hard for when you got your crown or why did mother die right after giving birth to me if demons can't die" he said 

"She could of died of poison" lokon sad not convinced

"But who would Poison the kings wife huh" jack said 

"No your lying" he said falling to his knees with tears in his eyes

"No I'm not mother died because she had a disease and now you have it" Jack said kneeling down to lokon

The he hugged him and lokon hugged back I could tell it was hard for lokon to hear that but I know how he's feeling its hard for me to watch my parents fight but it still happens anyway then all the lights came back on and jack took lokon to a room to talk privately
