You Who Painted My Colorless Life [ON HOLD]

Chapter 1: Colors

Wonyoung POV

I sighed once again while walking 'cause everything is just boring, my life is so colorless like literally. I have this condition that I can't see colors unless I find my soulmate. And it's been years now and where is that person? The person that I've waited for since I was young to come into my life and paint it. I sighed once again while thinking about those.

I'm on my way home from the mall since I was so bored at the house. All I did in the mall was just walk around since it's so boring that the world full of colors was made to be colorless for me. On my way home I bumped into someone and I said "Sorry" and continued walking. I didn't see the said person's face since the person looked like in a hurry.

Few Minutes later...

I finally arrived at my home and mom and dad greeted me.

"Hi sweetie, how are you?" My mom said while smiling

"I'm fine mom, its just I found it so boring seeing the world colorless" I said.

"Don't worry, you'll find your soulmate soon." My dad said while looking at me.

"Yeah, I hope so. Anyways I'll go to my room and change."

After I change my clothes I sit down in my bed and wonder where my soulmate is. Are we even gonna meet? If yes when? I'm tired of waiting and seeing the colorful world colorless. I lay down and while wondering I suddenly fell asleep.

In the morning... (ITZY lol joke🤪)

I went down to eat breakfast after I did my morning routines. I was eating the breakfast mom made for me until she suddenly spoke...

"By the way sweetie, we enrolled you to IZ*ONE Chu school" My mom said to me while smiling. (Ngl, I miss IZ*ONE and IZ*ONE Chu 😭)

"Ohh ok mom" I replied back with a smile

"You need to prepare your things for school its just a month away" Dad said

"Sure Dad, I got it, trust me." I said while reassuring them.

"Ok then" My dad said.

Today I have no plans but to stay home. Since its boring to explore the world while only seeing black and white right? So yeah right now I'm in my room while reading the book called "Colors" the story of this book is like how my life works, colorless, but in the story its not literally colorless. The girl can see colors but her life is colorless. I think that's more sad than what I feel right? In the book the guy said to the girl

'The world is so colorful and I want you to see it. So I'm here to paint you magically'

Accckkk I swear that line is so sweet but I wish someone would say that to me too or maybe paint my life with different colors. This condition, out of billions of people in the world, why me? The Doctor said only 2% of the population can get this condition. And I'm one of them. I wonder if those people who have this condition too already find their soulmates. By the way if you're curious my parents don't have this condition, in fact in my whole family I was the only one who had this. This sucks to be honest.

Anyways I keep on reading my book until someone knocks at my room. "Come in" I said.

"Hey sweetie" My mom said.

"Hi mom" I said while putting my book aside

"You really love that book huh?" she said while chuckling

"Yes" I said with a giggle

"Anyways, I noticed these days you are so down. Why sweetie hmm?"

"Nothing mom, its just I wonder where my soulmate is to give colors in my world." I said with a sad smile

"Sweetie, don't worry, a time will come where you will meet your soulmate. Your soulmate will come at the right time trust me." My mom said to me while smiling

"Yeah, I hope so" I said

"Come here" My mom said while opening her arms for a hug. I hugged her and say

"I love you mom"

"I love you too sweetie" She said while hugging me tighter

"Yah! Hugged me too" My dad said while pouting

"Daddy, stop pouting you're not cute" I said

"Yeah your daughter is right" My mom agreed

"Fine" My dad said while joining in our hug

'I'm happy to have them as my family' I thought while still hugging them

Days passed by until its time to enter my new school. (Btw their uniform here is the one they wore at Pd48 and I name the school IZ*ONE Chu because I want the college to be ENOZI XD) I was walking in the hallway while looking for my class. I kept on looking where is my classroom until someone bumped into me.

"I'm sorry." I said while bowing and picking up my things

"No, I'm very very very sorry. I wasn't looking at my way, pardon me" The girl said while typing to help me pick up my things.

I stand up and look at the girl. And I was shocked. I-I can s-see c-colors, how?! Is she my soulmate that I've been waiting for? This girl came into my life today and gave colors to it. I have a lot of thoughts going into my mind until...

"Miss, are you ok? You're spacing out" The girl said.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said while smiling. Because I finally found you. The one who will bring colors to my life.
