Chapter 12: Detention is not that bad

Wonyoung POV

Yujin unnie is really confusing. Like she is sweet to me then when she sees Minju unnie she also makes a move. Does she like the both of us? Love is surely complicated, huh? I sighed and continued eating my lunch.

"Do you want more food Wonnie?" Yujin unnie asked

"No unnie, besides I'm full already" I said

After we ate lunch, I went to my locker to get my remaining books for the afternoon classes. And Yujinie suddenly helped me like she didn't do this before to be honest. I find her weird sometimes. While we were walking I also saw Minju unnie struggling with her books, Yujin unnie went to her and helped her too. So now Yujinie is carrying a lot of books and she is the one struggling. Me and Minju unnie kept saying that we'll help but she said she can do it and insisted. Gladly, Hyewon unnie came and said she'll help Minju unnie's book to help Yujin unnie. Yujinie kept saying no at first but gave up because the books were surely heavy.

At class, I suddenly felt sleepy. I can't hold it until I finally have drifted to dreamland. I was dreaming until someone slammed a book on my desk, and guess what, I'm a dead meat.

"Miss Jang Wonyoung! If you're here to sleep just get out of the classroom, the door is open!" My teacher said

"I'm sorry sir" I said with my head low

"You too Yujin! If you both are here to make this classroom a bedroom just skip class will you!" Our teacher said angrily

Yujinie? She sleeps too. How come I didn't see that? Maybe I was so sleepy that I didn't notice it.

"You two will be in detention, NOW!" our teacher said

Both of us quickly stand up and go to the detention room. I hope the punishment won't be cleaning cause I can't clean the whole school. We entered and saw the punishment was cleaning the dishes in the canteen and cleaning it after. Phew, glad the punishment is not cleaning the whole campus, like that's the worst. Me and Yujin unnie will clean later but for now, we are writing 'I will not sleep again' in 10 bond papers. Eeeek, long writings ahead. After finishing 3 bond papers my hand is surely tired. I massaged it first so I can continue later. But something surprised me. Yujinie gets my hand and massages it. I stared at her while wondering why she was doing this.

"You must be tired Wonyoungie." she said

"N-ne" I said

"Does your hand feel better now?" she asked

"Yes unnie. Thanks!" I said while removing my hand

After we finished writing it. We went out of the detention room and saw its dismissal already. We directly go to the canteen to help. We are currently washing the dishes when suddenly Yujin unnie splashes some water on me.

"Yah, unnie! Here" I said while splashing water on her too

"Here's yours too" she said while also splashing water on me

We keep on splashing water until...

"Yah! You giant kids are not here to play but to do your punishment!" Someone said

We turned around to see who it was and it was Eclipse.

"Jealous again hmm?" Yujin unnie said

Eclipse just hissed

"Yah! Don't worry Eclipse I'll set you on a date and maybe you'll find the one" Yujinie said

"I don't need a date you know!" Eclipse said while walking out

"She's jealous~" Yujinie said

"Yujinie, you really like bullying or teasing others huh?" I said with a chuckle

We both laughed and continued washing the dishes. We were playing some Twice's songs and vibing on it while doing our work or to be exact punishment lol. After we washed the dishes, we directly cleaned the canteen. Yujinie is mopping while I'm cleaning the tables.

Yujin POV

Yes we just got detention and a punishment. I saw Wonnie cleaning the tables when suddenly the floor was wet and she accidentally slipped. So I catched her. When I catched her it was like in slow motion, we just stared at each other. Nobody dared to move between us and nobody tried to break eye contact. Then we heard something causing us to get back on our senses and release each other.

"B-be c-careful next time Wonnie o-okay" I said

"Y-yes unnie, t-thanks" she replied

After that we just cleaned and it was full of silence. We finished when its late night already. I can see that both of us are tired. I go to Wonnie and massage her back to help her feel better and I can see she was surprised by it. After that we went to get our things from the classroom and went to the lockers to put our things. I finished putting back my things so I'm waiting for Wonnie. And I just stared at her, was she this beautiful? How come I didn't see it before?

"Yujinie, I'm done let's go" she said

I don't know what's gotten into me. But I'm moving closer to her

Wonyoung POV

I saw Yujin unnie getting closer to me. I step back until my back reaches the wall and our faces are just an inch close.

"U-unnie, w-what are y-you doing?" I said

"Were you always this beautiful hmm?" she said

She was getting closer and closer until...

"O-ohhh, I'm so s-sorry. I thought I was the only one in this school...uhh umm continue" Azumi said while leaving slowly

We both get away from each other feeling the atmosphere getting awkward. Nobody dared to talk until we got home. I'm now in front of my house so I decided to say goodbye to Yujinie.

"B-bye Yujinie! T-thanks for t-today." I said

"Y-yeah, you're welcome. I'll g-get going now" she said

I was about to get inside when I heard Yujinie calling Minju unnie. And as I get inside I wonder, what does Yujin unnie really feel? A while ago I thought she was about to kiss me, but I know she likes Minju unnie. Its really confusing😐. I was about to walk upstairs until...

"Ms. Jang Wonyoung...you have something to explain." my mom

'Ohh gosh, I'm a dead meat again😓' I thought

"G-good evening, M-mom and D-dad!" I said

"Mind explaining why you're late hmm?" My dad said

"I'm s-sorry. I suddenly s-slept in class and my teacher c-caught me, so I got into d-detention with...Y-yujinie. We both got p-punishments😅" I said

'Eeek Mom and Dad are surely scary when they're angry😬' I thought

"We'll let you slip it this time. The next time this happens you know already" My mom said

Phew, glad mom and dad let this slip since its my first time. So I went upstairs. After finishing my night routine I went to my bed. I wonder why I suddenly feel sleepy in class? That's weird, because as far as I remember I got a nice sleep. I just ignored my thoughts, then suddenly I remembered what happened a while ago. I squealed while remembering what Yujin unnie was about to do. I hugged my pillow so tight. What have you done to me Yujinie? I suddenly remembered mom and dad are sleeping so I should keep my voice down lol. If not, I'm a dead meat again. I keep on remembering what happened a while ago until I drifted to dreamland.
