-two months later-

"yeah, i miss you too cam," i said to the camera.
"you seem glum," he said.
"just missing you," i sadly smiled at him.
"or a certain someone that's not me," he laughed.
"maybe," i said sitting down on my bed.
"come on ky, don't be so sad. you'll come back next year and it will be all good!" he said smiling.
"yeah it will be all good," i said sarcastically.
"seriously i'm gonna smack you through the phone," he said laughing.

I smiled and let out a little laugh.
"see there's the ky i know and love." he smiled.
"she's really pretty," i said looking down.
"i see that's what this mood thing is about," he stated.
"do you know her?" i asked trembling.
"i met her a few times, her name's lauren." he said quietly.

i looked down trying not to cry. how could everything that once made me break, come back around again.

"it's been two months cam, i should just let him be happy." i whispered.
"kylie grace walker, you know he loves you." he yelled.
"i just wanna forget about him. waiting around to be together is just breaking me. i know i said we could see other people until i was ready. but i'm not ready to see him with other girls, i'll never be." i said shedding a tear.

"come on mate we haven't see ya in like a month," hally said.
hally was my best friend since i moved here. she lived across the street along with her twin brother holt. i'm not gonna lie when i said i've had a crush on holt for as long as i can remember.

his light brown hair and bright hazel eyes were gorgeous. the way his-
"ky!" hally screamed bringing me out of my day dream.
"sorry," i said.
"come on mate, just come out for the day." she begged.
"hally i don't-"
"holt's coming with his mates," she smirked.
i looked down and then back at her and smiled.
"fine but help me look more descent yeah?" i asked.

she let out a squeal and off we went to my closet. i deserved to be happy, i deserved to like other boys while shawn was getting it on with my ex best friend.

"how about this?" she said asking about a green dress.
"nah." i said.
she pulled out another one that was pink. i shook my head. we continued to keep looking until hally's face lit up.

"this is it," she whispered.
i ooked up and froze.
"hally no," i told her.
"why!" she yelled.
"i just can't wear that okay," i told her.
"he gave it to you didn't he," she asked.

i didn't say anything.
"get over him Ky," she told me.
"how am i supposed to forget about someone i'm in love with?" i asked her.
"he has a girlfriend, he's gonna be touring the world soon!" she told me.
"so," i said.
"he has already planned out his life ky. can't you see his life is planned with laur being the love of his life." she went on.

"stop please," i said on the verge of tears.
"look at me. his life is planned out already and you're-"
"please stop," i screamed collapsing on the ground holding my knees.

"his life is planned without you in it ky, and you just have to deal with reality." she whispered.
