•kylie's pov•

shawn held my hand going into the pizza place. i looked down at our intwined hands and frowned. what would he do if he found out it was me, would he still want me like this?

we sat down next to each other and he still didn't let my hand go. i sighed and looked over at cameron, who was giving me a look.
my eyebrows furrowed as i mouthed, "what?"

he continued to stare at me, before returning his glance to nash, who was going on about hayes.

i tried to focus on the conversations, but i caught cameron look at me a few times again, did he know something?

we ordered pizza and shawn started asking me questions, but one stopped me.

"what's your full name?" he asked.

"grace vanessa tyler." i panicked.

he nodded, stopping the questions. we ate and laughed. and at the end of the night the boys started to pay.

"let me pay guys." i insisted.

they all looked at me like i was crazy. they began fighting with me.

"fine then." i said defeated after a few minutes.

shawn pulled out his wallet and opened it. i froze as i saw the picture he had.

"let's take a quick walk grace." cameron told me.

"okay." i said weakly and got up.

shawn gave cameron a look and cameron shrugged it off. i walked outside with Cameron and we started walking.

"i knew you looked familiar." he said after a few moments.

i continued to look at the ground as his gaze burned the size of my head.

"kylie walker, former best friend of shawn." he announced.

i stopped walking and looked at him.

"how did you know?" i asked him.

he took out his phone and showed me a picture. shawn and i were twelve at the time and we were jumping on the trampoline. we were looking at each other with smiles on our faces,  with our hands intwined.

"where did you get that?" i asked him.

"he sent it to me to print. he wanted it for his wallet, it's still in there till this day." he told me as we started walking again.

"i just saw it." i told him, "but why? he hates me."

cameron let out a small laugh as i said that.

"trust me he doesn't. all he can ever talk about is this gorgeous girl that he was best friends with. but she left him when they were fourteen. he always says he loved her when he was younger-"

"he loved me when we were younger." i said cutting him off.

"and he still does, you didn't let me finish." he said.

"i don't love him." i told cameron while kicking a pebble.

"that's a lie." he smirked.

"he hurt me. you don't know my story, you only know his side of the story." i said annoyed, stopping walking again.

"there's always 3 sides of the story kylie grace. yours, his, and the truth." he said smiling.

"you don't know the pain i went through." i screamed at him.

"no, but i know the pain shawn went through though and all the guilt he felt leaving you at the airport like that." he said turning around to walk back to the pizza place.

"i had two best friends. they both hurt me. i didn't hurt him, just stay out of my business." i told him walking faster back to the restaurant.

he walked slower and i sensed him stop.
"when are you going to tell him your a lier?" he yelled after me.

"when my heart is unbroken." i yelled back to him, rolling my eyes.

"that's impossible." he yelled.

"exactly." i whispered.
