Wedding Dress above

Rhea's POV

The following morning I was woken up by a loud bang. I forced my eyes open to find Rose walking towards me. She ripped the covers from my body and I let out a loud groan. She just laughed and told me to get in the shower. She promised me chocolate chip pancakes if I got in the shower right away. I complied with her wish and went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and took a shower.

After I was all clean I put on a pair of undergarments, a pair of pajama shorts, and a black tank top. Rose met me in the room with pancakes. I ate while she tugged at my hair. First, she dried it, then she ran some products through it before styling it. She took the top half and did a loose braided crown. Once I was done with my breakfast she applied a small amount of makeup. She kept everything neutral, lots of tans and peaches. She did just a small amount of blush as well as eyeliner and mascara. I just did a colored chapstick on my lips.

Then it was her turn. She tried to argue that it was my wedding day and I didn't need to worry about her but I refused to ignore her. The two of us traded places and I took her hair in my hands. I curled her hair and took two parts by her temple and braided them into a fishtail style. After that, she applied her own makeup. I am clueless when it comes to makeup so she just took over.

I amused myself for about an hour. Rose had to step out to make sure that our parents had arrived okay and to see if the boys were behaving by themselves. She arrived a little bit later and we were able to put the dress on. I chose a long-sleeve, backless, lace dress. The material was rather lightweight so I knew that I wouldn't get too hot. Since we were having a beach wedding I was allowed to go barefoot.

"It's time," Rose said. She opened the door and Dad walked in. She handed me the blue bouquet and went to join the others.

"You ready?" Dad asked, holding out his arm.

I took one last look at my reflection and nodded my head. I took hold of his arm and let him lead me through the back door and down the aisle. Jas was standing at the altar in a light grey suit with a light blue tie to match the flowers. Carefully, Dad and I walked down the aisle. When we got to the end, Dad gave my forehead a kiss before giving my hand to Jas. I walked one step closer to Jas so we were standing even with each other. Rose reached around me to take my bouquet so Jas could hold both of my hands.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony," the priest said. "If there is any reason these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." We waited patiently and the priest continued when no one spoke up. "I believe each has written their vows. Jasper."

"Rhea, when I first saw you my whole world changed. I wanted to keep my distance because I didn't want to drag you into this world. And then I saw how vulnerable you were and I knew that I couldn't stay away. I had to get to know you. The more I found out the more I fell in love with you. I know I left but I believe that it only brought us closer together. Being apart was torture and I knew that I had to make you mine. So I promise to you that every day I will love you even more than the last and I vow to always be honest and to trust you with everything that I have," Jasper vowed, bringing tears to my eyes.

"Rhea."

"This was sprung on me so it might not sound right," I said, causing a few chuckles to break out among the crowd. "Jasper, when I first met you I was scared. I was scared to make friends again but you stood by me. You proved to me day after day that I could trust you, and with every passing day, I fell deeper in love. Even our time apart only made me love you more, after we made up, of course. So I vow to you that I will never stop loving you and that I will never leave you. I vow to you forever and anything that comes after that."
