Rhea's POV

I was standing in an open field. Across the field, I stood, only a different me. I looked about a year older and a piece of silver wrapped around my left ring finger. I took a step closer and so did she. We continued our dance until we stood in front of one another.

"Who are you?" I asked stunned.

"I am you. Well you in a decade or so," she-I answered.

A single ray of the golden sun passed over the two of us and she sparkled like a thousand diamonds.

"I become a vampire?"

"That's not all." She turned around and waved her hand in a come here motion. Three beautiful children ran to her side and gave her a great big hug.

"Who is she, mommy?" A little girl asked. She looked the perfect mix between Jasper and I. His honey hair and my blue-ish grey eyes.

"Mommy? I become a mom?" I asked tears coming to my eyes. "I have so many questions."

"And they will be answered in your time, not in this place. Everything will work out wonderfully in the end just you wait," the older me said. She took two of the children's hands and the third held her brothers and they walked back into the forest.

"Rhea..." A voice called out in the distance.

"Rhea... it's time to get up," Dad called out. I opened my eyes to see Dad at the end of my bed with one present wrapped in old newspapers. "Wake up sweetie."

"I'm up. What's all this?" I asked motioning to the gift and the cupcake sitting on my dresser.

"Don't you know what day it is?"

"The twenty-something."

"It's your birthday. Happy birthday, kiddo."

He handed me the present and brought the cupcake closer. I blew out the electronic candle only for it to reappear. I closed my eyes and made a wish. I wish for today to be a good day. I blew out the candle and this time it stayed off. Dad took the candle out and waited for me to open my present.

I not so neatly opened the present to find two new books to fill my never-ending library, and a journal all filled in. "What's this?" I asked.

"That was your great, great, great grandfathers. He was the black sheep of the family at the time and he wrote about strange things happening in our sleepy little town. I thought you might like it?"

"I love it." I reached over to give him a huge hug. He gently returned it before leaving to go deliver Bella's presents from Renee.

I took a bite of my cupcake before walking over to my closet to get dressed. I quickly decided against the many dresses Alice and Rose have filled in my closet. So I opened my leggings drawer and pulled out a solid black pair. I looked at my handing tank tops and chose a loose-fitting grey one before putting it on. I quickly ate the rest of my cupcake before sliding on a pair of grey ugg boots. I walked into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and threw my hair up in a messy bun.

Bella stormed into the bathroom and told me to get out. I rolled my eyes at her antics but walked out of the room. I walked downstairs to see Dad's cruiser gone. I threw a bagel in the toaster and poured myself a small glass of juice. Bella stomped down the stairs and outside completely forgetting that she was supposed to drive me to school today. I called Jas and my bagel popped. He said that he would be at my house in five minutes. I said okay and hung up the phone before putting cream cheese on my bagel and ate it.

I heard Jas's car pulling into the driveway and I cleaned up my plate and knife. I grabbed my rain jacket and walked outside. Before I got in the car I locked up the front door. "Good morning," I said sitting in the passenger seat.

"Good-mornin' darlin'," Jas said, his southern accent out full force.

"So what are we doing today, besides school?"

"Well, I was thinking we could do somewhere to celebrate your birthday."

"I would love that."

Within the next five minutes, we were parked at school. Jas whooshed around the car and opened my door like a gentleman. We were walking through the hall to our first-class when a pixie sized blur jumped in front of us.

"Hello, Alice," I said.

"Happy birthday!" She squealed giving me a bone-crushing hug. She handed me a large box, wrapped and everything. "For you. I've seen it. You love it and you will wear it tonight to our house. It's a party for Bella."

"Oh... yeah sure." I took the gift from her and walked to my locker. I could hear Jas scolding Alice but I chose to ignore their bickering. I didn't really care why they were fighting. That's a lie. I did care I just didn't want to hear yet another person favor Bella.

I walked into my first hour and waited for the day to be over. Classes blurred together and I tried to avoid the Cullens as much as I could. During lunch, I ate in the car. Of course, Jas found me and sat in silence with me. As lunch was ending Jas asked what was wrong and I brushed him off. Rose asked if I was feeling alright and I just ignored her.

"Rhea, please don't shut me out," Jas pleaded whispering into my ear in History class.

"I'm not shutting you out. I'm just feeling off," I whispered back before focusing on the lesson.

After the lesson ended, Jas dragged me outside to his car before driving back to my house. Thankfully, Dad was at work still and wouldn't be home for a couple of hours. I threw my backpack on the couch and walked into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water.

"Darlin', I know something's bothering you and I can't help you if you don't tell me what the problem is. I want to help you," Jas pleaded, wrapping his arms around my midsection and placing a soft kiss at the nape of my neck before resting his head on my shoulder.

I took a deep breath and got ready to tell Jas what was bothering me. "For the past three years, I have watched Bella celebrate her birthday-our birthday alone. Renee would do the big family parties and get a fabulous cake and decorations, the whole nine yards. Which sounds fun but it was all for Bella. The cake would say 'Happy Birthday Bella' and it would be all of Bella's friends. I know I sound petty and jealous but it was like I was forgotten until I wasn't. After the festivities would end I would be forced to clean the entire house by myself while the three of them went out for family time and there would be hell to pay if I ever missed something. Renee always found something I missed. Thankfully, Phil was able to stop her most of the time but not always.

"I thought that maybe this year would be different. Dad always remembered that it was our birthday not just Bella's birthday but when Alice said it was a party for Bella... I knew it wasn't going to be different. I mean why would it, I'm the forgotten twin."

He spun me around so I faced him, still wrapped in his arms. He gently lifted my chin so I had to look him in the eyes and he used his thumb to brush away the stray tears. "Listen to me. You are not forgotten. You will never be forgotten so long as I live. And in case you haven't noticed that's forever."
