The weather was about to change, and not in a good way. Black clouds started to appear on the sky, right above your beloved city.

"Uugh, just my luck" said Bennett. "And right when I wanted to go collect some berries.". It always happens to the poor boy. Although, it was very strange for you, since you've always been lucky. The poor idea of a rainy day was out of question for you. And now, here you were. About to get soaking wet.

You quickly found a place to hide under.

"If it depends on my luck, it's going to rain all day" cried Bennett. You tried to calm him down and tell him there is no way that is going to happen.

And you were right. Although the rain was rather heavy, it stopped after ten minutes. Bennett was actually surprised, since whenever it rains, it would rain for a long while. But it didn't this time. It was actually the first time something like this happened with him.

"What a relief. It looks like my bad luck isn't that bad toda-" he had to finish his sentence here, because he tripped and fell into a puddle. He got soaking wet, and a little dirty too. You couldn't help but chuckle a little. Luckily he didn't hear. He just laughed it off, stood up and started going like nothing happened. He was truly an amazing boy, whitstanding such bad luck and acting like it isn't even there.

You finally arrived to the adventurer's guild centre. Katheryn greeted you, and you went straight to the point. The woman took the letter, and then you went away.

"Y/N, what was in that letter?" Bennett asked. You shrugged, and said an "I don't know" for an answer.

The four of you continued your journey, but you soon had to part ways. The day went away really quickly, and before you even realized it, it was time for bed. You went home, and everyone did the same.

"Good night guys" you said goodbye to the boys and Paimon.

The next morning after you got out of bed a bird flew onto your window frame. You walked to the window and let the little animal inside, which flew onto your finger and sang you a beautiful melody. After it was done, it flew away and you continued your usual morning routine.

"Such a beautiful day!" you said, as you stepped out of your house. It really was beautiful. You could feel the wind's soft breeze on your skin, smell the fresh scent of the flowers and hear the town's people quietly as they were doing their everyday jobs. Before you stepped down from the stairs, you heard a loud crash, and eventually, you saw the source of the noise.

"Bennett?" you asked, as you slowly started to approach the boy who was laying on the floor with a bucket on his head. He lifted the bucket up and gave a warm smile to you.

"Good morning, Y/N! It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" he said, smiling. You just stood there, mouth agape. Was he really this unlucky?

"Y-yeah, it is." you said after a while, and took the bucket off of his head. You couldn't help but giggle at the foolish boy. You held a hand out to him and he gladly accepted it.

"Would you like to go together?" he asked, and you just nodded. The two of you continued your ways, and at the fountain you parted.

"Y/N! Hurry! We need you!" you heard Barbara's voice before you even entered the cathedral. You ran up the stairs and went into the building, where a heavily injured patient was waiting for you.

By the time you were done with all of your work, it was past midnight, and you felt like collapsing onto the floor and sleeping right there. And you actually did collapse, but someone caught you.

"Are you okay?" asked a familiar voice. You looked up to see no other than aether. He was about to go on an adventure.

"Yeah, I'm just a little exhausted" you stated. The boy looked at you with a worried expression.

"You've been working so hard lately, Y/N. Don't you think it's time you take a rest?" You couldn't reply. You simply looked at your feet, and shook your head. Although you really wanted to rest, you couldn't. In the past few weeks you've been really busy, and so was everyone at the cathedral. It was a very stormy season of the year, so it was understandable.

"Paimon thinks we should take a rest, too. We've been travelling non stop, and now even that tone-deaf-bard gave us a commission. Aaagh, I can't belive him!" stated the little travelling companion of your friend, who everyone lived so much.

"Sigh, alright, we'll take a rest. Y/N, can we stay at yours tonight? We were actually planning to go to wangshu Inn today, but it seems like that plan's been canceled." You nodded your head in response to the blonde boy.

You were almost at your home, when aether suddenly stopped.

"What is it?" you asked. He was looking shocked, like he forgot something. And he actually did.

"Bennett" he simply said. You didn't understand what he meant, but he started running towards good hunter, and you quickly followed.

"Hey, Aether, what is with Benn-" you didn't have to finish your sentence, since you saw the mentioned boy sleeping on a bench in front of the restaurant.

You walked over to Bennett, and tried to wake him up. Aether did the same thing, but the white haired boy didn't move an inch.

"Siiiigh, what do we do now? Paimon's tired."

As the duo was thinking about a solution, you grabbed Bennett by the arm, threw him onto your back and started going home. Aether and Paimon just stared at first, then quickly caught up to you, giving you a helping hand.

You finally arrived home, and gave Aether the key to your home and told him to open it, while you held Bennett. That's when the unexpected happened: a bucket of water fell onto the two of you, making you and Bennett wet. Now you weren't only tired, but also cold, too. But luckily, that amount of ice cold water made Bennett wake up.

"Huh? Where am I? And how did I get wet?" he said, clearly confused. Then he saw you. His face went a little pink, being him so close to you made him embarrassed. He quickly let himself down to the ground, making you relieved.

"Are you guys okay?" asked Aether. You and Bennett simply nodded, then went inside.

You switched up the lights, gave Bennett a towel and you went to take a shower. You told the boys and the floating girl to go explore the house.

When you came back, only Bennett was present.

"Ummm, Y/N.." he started.

"Yes?"

"There's a little... Problem.." you tilted your head a little, visible confusion written in your face.

"There are only two rooms."
