The One Thing Part 2: Pranking

~3rd Person Point of View~

Y/N chuckled mischievously as they thought of all the ways they could break the news of having a glass eye to the band members. Actually- they had no idea at all, at least, not a creative one, they definitely needed some ideas for it and the only one who'd have such good ideas would be Noodle.

"Hmm should I go to Noodle or keep this between us?" They asked their boyfriend, 2D, however he only responded with a shrug and a muttered I don't know "some help you are" they joked "Hey now, I'm trying to help you" he pouted, to which Y/N responded "You just said you don't know how!" The two continued to jokingly bicker back and forth, laughing and play flighting, Y/N completely forgetting about their genius plans.

Nighttime had already settled in, the couple not having noticed till now as they saw no light coming in from the window. "Guess my surprise will have to wait" Y/N announced to 2D "Goodnight D, rest well and sweet dreams my darling" they said, as they made their way out the door. Not realizing they left their fake glass eye on 2D's nightstand.

"Did the old bastard f*ck your eye out or something?" The oh-so-familiar voice of Murdoc sounded, Y/N turned to looked up with a confused expression to look at him. He just stood there with his door not even halfway closed yet in his boxers and socks with a mug in his hand. Not saying anything, Y/N touched their face and poked their finger right into their empty socket. The shock making them jump as they realized they forgot it in 2D's room.
Lucky for them 2D was already on his way over with the eye in his hand. "You forgot this, love" he said, handing it over to his partner while they stuttered out some thank you to 2D and an explanation to Murdoc. "He did not- I've been missing this for-" and without another thought just threw the eye at Murdoc and ran. The glass orb smacking onto Murdoc's forehead before falling into his cup of coffee, he heaved an exhausted sigh and walked back into his room, forgetting what he was originally supposed to do at this point.

2D just stood in his same spot as the scene that just unfolded in front of him needed some processing time, once he fully realized what just went down he started laughing hysterically, walking back to his room while Y/N ran right into their own.

Looks like that was the second one thing I've ever done that made me want to disappear off the earth Y/N thought to themself before laughing at their own actions. That's one down, two more to go then. Or really just one, there's no real way of pranking Russel, nor would it feel nice to do, but Noodle on the other hand. They contemplated it, soon deciding that they'd just walk around without it near Russ one day and see his reaction, no doubt he'll just see it's gone and continue on his day.

The events of last night were never spoken once it was bright and early in the morning, everyone was awake and eating breakfast they all prepared themselves, scattered all around the house with only Y/N, 2D, and their victim Noodle on the couch. "Hey Noodle, check this out" Y/N spoke, popping their eye out of their socket just before Noodle could turn around to look at them, their eye held out in their hand as they held it close to Noodle's face "I've got my eye on youuuu" they giggled, their arm being grabbed to flip them over. The young Noodle stood up quickly with an embarrassed smile, muttering out a sorry as the winded Y/N groaned "Noted. Don't prank Noodle" they chuckled with a couple coughs.

They weren't hurt too badly, just a few bruises, the three went on to laugh about the whole scene after a few minutes of standing- and laying- in complete silence while the TV chattered on with some cartoon show.

Y/N learned three things that day:
1. Russel does in fact get spooked and chased them all around the house thinking they were a fake Y/N
2. Noodle may be a child but is way stronger than she looks
3. Don't throw fake eyes at Murdoc again or they'll be fired and kicked out
4. That was just a threat though, Murdoc wouldn't do that
5. There's only supposed to be three things

"Today was... something" Y/N breathed out as they laid down on 2D's bed, the sudden feeling of not being up and moving made their body hurt way more than it did relaxing them as it should. With a groan they turned to their side and came face-to-face with 2D, "Can I sleep here? Your room's closer than mine" they whined to their boyfriend as he responded with a smirk. "Mmm nope, sorry love, but I'll carry you if you want to." Y/N only responded with a dramatic sigh but allowed their boyfriend to carry them to their room. The two bidding each other goodnight.
"Why did I think pranks were a good idea with these people" they complained before finally falling asleep from taking as many painkillers as 2D would let them.
