But you can't seem to move or comprehend that the life you're living is real, Like quicksand you're stuck.
Sinking into a never ending pit of doubt and disbelief. But like quicksand, do we know of the bottom?
Do we go on in this life sinking deeper in altered mindsets and hopes and dreams of what life could, would and should be like?
Like most things left unanswered,
Life is a lot like cancer progressing slowly but not killing us softly.
As we sit here in this paralyzing quiet,
Letting our dreams slip away without a hope.
You are here but your heart is not.
