Chapter 4

Later that week

David POV

It was Thursday and it was Rachel's birthday. I couldn't wait to tell her how I felt. I rushed out the door to school and waited outside our first period. I stood there for about 10 minutes. Then I saw her .

"Hey birthday girl" I said with a smile.

"Awww Thank you. "She said hugging me.

Rachel's POV

I looked at David and he was looking at the ground all of a sudden. He looked like he had to get something off his chest.

"Hey......um can I tell you something. " David said.

"Yeah sure, You can tell me anything." I said. Then the bell rang. "Oh crap"  I exclaimed.We were tardy and even though I was right outside the door I wasn't inside the class room. And that counts as tardy so me and David walked to the tardy table.

As we walked back to class David began to speak.

"As I was saying earlier I uh........wanted to tell you....." David stuttered. "I love you. "

I stopped dead in my tracks. He liked me? I dropped my binder on the floor making a loud echo though the empty hallway. I was in such shock all I could think of was Jessica. Jessica was the one who loved David not me. I stumbled backwards up against the wall. I stared at David. Then he walked up to me.

David POV

"I love you Rachel", I told her. I grabbed her hands and held them tightly. I leaned in to kiss her. But she turned her head. I turned her chin to make her look at me. She glared at me in disgust. I kissed her. It was the best feeling I ever felt. Her lips were soft against mine.I could taste her cherry lip balm.

Rachel's POV

I didn't want him kissing me especially cause I knew that this was Jessica's dream guy but honestly I liked it. I didn't try to stop him. I let him do what he wanted cause I really didn't mind. It felt good. We ended up making out for a long while. With his arm half around my waist and his other hand on the wall above my head. Both my arms were around his neck. Then the bell rang. A whole class period had gone by with us making out?

Kids started to poor out of class rooms. We stoped. I dragged him down the hallway into a cleaning closet.

David's POV

She dragged my into a cleaning closet. I was so happy the second she closed the door behind us I kissed her again. She pushed me off.

"Look David, " she said," I know you like me but......Jessica likes you. " 

I stood thier in utter surprise. Really? Jessica likes me? Why me? I'm in love with Rachel.

"Um ok........I guess but you won't tell her right? You know about what happened?"

"Noo." she hesitated.

"Rachel I love you and you only. I don't want Jessica. I want you. "

Rachel blushed at me saying that. I think she might be falling for me. We kissed then parted and went to our second period. For the rest of the day she was all I thought about.
