Sam and Dean

Back at Hale's Place, they had what smelled suspiciously like coffee. Turned out it tasted like coffee too. "Hmm," said Dean. "Coffee transcends worlds, who knew?"

After a cup or two of the coffee, Hale got back to his senses. "There are others like me here," he said. "I could round up some."

"That would be great," said Sam. "Would one of them be a Bicky Welsey?" he asked.

"Sure would," said Hale. "One of the best darn air mages in town," he said. He got up and went into the kitchen and came back with a bowl of water. He set it on the table in front of him poured some powder into it, said some words over it, and the water began to swirl. "Bicky," he said.

After a few minutes, a voice answered, seemingly coming out of the water. "Hale?"

"Yeah buddy, you alone?"

"Gimme a minute," he said. Then, "Okay, buddy, what's up?"

"Hundrigennon!" Hale said, cutting right to the chase.

"Come again?

"You heard me. Happening now. Grab anyone you can and meet at my place faster than stemlets." Dean recognized the word to mean a hare like animal. He guessed they were pretty fast.

Within thirty minutes, seven more elves besides Hale had joined them in Hale's parlor. Introductions were made. There was Bicky Welsy, short, round and bright yellow, Stony Teason, about Dean's height and build, and bright red, Lemmie Corane, who appeared younger than the rest, had very long blonde hair, which looked good against his green skin. Then there was Selmer Deets, of Deets weapons and errand running, another water mage. He looked to be the oldest of the bunch, but still hearty and robust.

There were also among them three females. Arla Franson was a firey redhead with deep red skin. Dean couldn't help but appreciate the view. Moraine Capson, another air mage, whose auburn hair contrasted well with her yellow skin, and finally, Janny Hummet, another water mage who looked too young to be the bright blue she was sporting. Her blonde hair made Dean think of Smurfette, and he had to hide a grin.

Sam took notes of all the names and the kind of mages they were. When they'd all found seats, Hale turned to Sam and Dean and said, "I can vouch for everyone here," he said. "I would trust them with my life." Then he turned to his friends and said, "Get prepared for the shock of your lives. Hundrigennon has started, and these two here are the Chosen Ones."

There were gasps of surprise all around and some low murmers, until Hale said, "Settle down now, these boys need our help, and they're on our side."

Dean stood up and thanked Hale, and leaned against the hearth. "It's good meeting you all, and we are very grateful for any help you can give us. We are not from here, from this…, " he realized he was finding no word for planet or universe. "World," he said. "We were pulled out of our own world to do this for your god." everyone made detrimental noises.

"We understand," he said," we don't much care for that 'douch bag' either. That's a word in our language that means someone (or some entity) who is about as miserable a person that can possibly be." Several of them repeated the words so they could remember them.

"Now, we wanna go home, and we want to leave your world a better place. We've already completed parts of this quest. We were helped on one part by Jono Filgrin, perhaps some of you know him." Hale and two others indicated they did. "Well, if it hadn't been for him, we would already be dead, and that's a fact. That's when we realized we need help from others if we are going to get through this alive." There were indications of assent and willingness to help. In fact, there was a high level of excitement permeating the room.
