Janus' POV:

I look over to Logan and back to Remus, why did this have to happen to Logan? "what's happening to him..?" I hear Patton whisper. As I sigh I look over to Remus and Logan hugging like it's the end of the world; "I think Logan just turned into a dark side..." The room becoming almost silent, with the only noise being Logan sobbing.

I turn to Patton once again, as I see a small slime growing on his face. "It's about time he did!" I hear him say. Something was wrong, this isn't Patton.. Not the Patton I know of at least.

We all look over at him in shock, I didn't think Patton was able to say something like that, let alone say it with such joy. "Are you KIDDING ME!?!" A voice screams, with all of his naturally looking over to the sound, we're greeted by Logan. His pale orange wings spread open, the look in his eyes is something that I couldn't even associate with Remus. His grin was unnatural, almost scary. The room is filled with the sounds of Logan's wings, along with his huffing.

"You're going to pay for the pain you have given me Patton"

Within a blink of an eye, Logan is grabbing Patton by the shoulders, "You have put me through s̶̨̜̺̈Ö̷̢̘́́ ̶̛͚M̸̰̊ų̶̤͙̀C̵̮͑̎ḧ̵̯̙͙ ̶̪͗̈́̋P̸̣̲̓̇͝a̴͚̩̩͠I̵͓̺͂̕N̴̺̙̋̆͝ͅ!!"

I close my eyes, I wanted to wake up from this and just have this all be a dream, but I don't hear any more noises. I carefully open my eyes only to see myself in a black void, when I see some white text appear in front of me.

CONGRATULATIONS JANUS, YOU HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR INTO THE SIMULATION.

YOU ARE NOW NEEDED TO ANSWER A QUESTION THAT WILL CONTINUE THE SIMULATION, JANUS...

Some more text appears straight afterwards;

DO YOU TO MAKE LOGAN HAPPY?

I freeze, what kind of question is that "Of course I do!" I shout towards the text. A minute goes by as everything starts to go flat when I hear a maniacal laugh coming from everywhere, and nowhere at the same time.

ARE YOU SURE, JANUS?

As the text fades a small yellow box falls in front of me, I look at it before slowly taking the box into my hands, and opening it. In it, is a small piece of paper folded inside. As I grab the paper out of the box it was 14 words.

YOU MADE ME GO THROUGH SO MUCH PAIN...

NOW ITS YOUR TURN...

SINCERELY LOGAN

As a loud screech fills my ears, I fall to my side and cover my ears. What did I do wrong? Just as I'm about to give up hope a soft beeping sound makes its way through the void.

DO YOU WANT TO ESCAPE THE SIMULATION, JANUS?

A piece of paper falls to the ground as a pen is placed down next to it I quickly crawl over to it.

Y̶e̶s̶

With a flash of bright light a wake up in a room, the beeping never stopping. I quickly look around and see; "LOGAN?!" I shout out, "YOU'RE OKAY!!! THANK FUCK YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!!!" I try to lunge at Logan when cords stop me, and I'm left with one question on my mind. "Did- Did Thomas ever exist?" Logan gave me a sad smile; "He didn't Janus, but for now you are back in the real world! PATTON!!!! JANUS IS UP!!!!"

As I close my eyes, I smile, hearing the sounds of Patton and Logan laughing. Everything was worth it, everything was all okay in the end. I feel a small tear run down my face as I remember Thomas, he was a good man, even if he was just a simulation.

As I reopen my eyes I see Patton running up to me and kissing me. Were we a thing now? I kiss his back I love this man, and I've never been so happy in my life, even before the simulation.

"Well, Jan, how's the real world now?" I smile as I give my answer. "Better than ever."
