Chapter 4 - What is on the Third Floor?

As the day of class began, Alex and Rosella were attending the lessons of Muggle Studies and another professor who was in charge of the class, given them the essay topic called 'Why Muggles Need Electricity'. Alex was giving the explanation of the Muggles are using the electricity appliances to support their lives and need to pay the power bills. Then the professor became impressed, giving extra ten points to Gryffindor house. They are moving onto the Divination, giving them knew about their fortunes as Professor Trelawney expressed her frightened and warned Alex about his future events with one sentence.

"You need to beware. Do not enter the Forbidden Forest... But one may save your life from wilderness."

Many students were bewildered at him as Alex shared his concerns with others.

(Hogwarts – Transfiguration Class)

Alex and Rosella were on the same table while Cedric was on the other side of the classroom sitting with another Hufflepuff student. Professor McGonagall was standing up from her desk and ready to teach the students.

"At the start of third year, I have given you proper lesson of different type of Transfiguration which is Switching. It swaps the two objects, if necessary, the incantation is Catastropha." McGonagall said before glancing at Alex.

"Mr. Potter, should I use your textbook as a demonstration to his class, please?"

"Certainly." Alex said.

Professor McGonagall gently aimed the wand at the textbook, Intermediate Transfiguration while holding the apple on her hand.

"Catastropha." McGonagall said, casting the textbook to switch it with the apple and she is holding the Intermediate Transfiguration.

"As you can see, it is relatively difficult of that performance. Alex, would you do simply take the textbook back by switching?"

She holds the textbook up, Alex concentrated at it and incanted clearly. "Catastrophia."

Switching back the textbook on his table and Professor McGonagall was delighted when she is holding the apple.

"Very astounding to perform the spell. Five points to Gryffindor for succeeded the Switching Spell." Professor McGonagall pleased.

Rosella gave him a charmed smile. "Nice tone."

"I agreed." Alex replied.

After the class is finished while the third-year students left from the room except for Alex as Professor McGonagall spoked to him.

"I supposed Mr. Potter and Weasley weren't making their time to my class on their first days. You have to remind them to use the map for trying not to get lost."

"I understand, Professor." Alex murmured.

"After all. Potter was your brother; he was quite famous. I knew you seemed protective of him. Now, hurried to the next class." Professor McGonagall smiled a bit.

Alex nodded as he left the Transfiguration Class and moved onto the Potion where Professor Snape teaching the others.

On that time, Professor Snape gave the students with strict instructions before asking with Rosella about the which list of ingredients of Antidote for Common Poisons. She made the explanation of one Bezoar, two measures of Standard Ingredient, one pinch of unicorn horn and two mistletoe berries. Snape remarked her as the talent before giving two points for Gryffindor despite holding his secret grudge against her because she is Sirius Black's daughter and went back to the lessons.

Professor Quirrell was teaching the class how to perform Impediment Jinx on the wasps even Alex was excited to do it before the teacher questioned about what Impediment Jinx do.
