On the next month to December, the Hogwarts celebrated the Christmas holidays as Hagrid dragged a massive Christmas tree to the castle. Alex, Rosella, and Cedric were going to Hogsmeade since their third years allowed and Professor McGonagall checked their permission forms since the first weekend of December.

(Hogsmeade)

Alex, Rosella, and Cedric were finally arrived in the village of Hogsmeade.

Hogsmeade was a picturesque little village of cottages and shops, with enchanted candles hanging in the trees during the holidays. It was also near the location of the train station used by the Hogwarts Express. The village has small snowy roof-topped array of shops. It has the shops around the village, Dervish and Banges, Dogweed and Deathcap, Dominc Maestro's Music Shop, Gladrags Wizardwear, Hairdressing Salon, Hogsmeade Post Office, Honeydukes, J. Pippin's Potions, Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop, Ollivanders, Unknown Hogsmeade branch of Potage's Cauldron Shop, Ceridwen's Cauldrons, Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, Spintwitches Sporting Needs, Hog's Head Inn, The Magic Neep, The Three Broomsticks Inn, Tomes and Scrolls, Wizarding Wireless Network Headquarters and Zonko's Joke Shop.

"We can't believe we allowed ourselves to visit in Hogsmeade, now we can go some shopping and drinking some Butterbeer. I heard they are bit alcoholic, but it has butterscotch flavor." Rosella said.

"We loved to drink that. How about we look for the shops to buy something and go having the drinks at the Three Broomsticks Inn?" Cedric asked.

"Sounds fair, we'll catch you up." Alex replied.

"See you around, guys." Cedric responded before he went off to the opposite direction of the village.

(Three Broomsticks Inn)

After looking around the shops in several minutes, Alexander and Rosella entered in the inn.

"We have nothing interesting to buy the stuffs from the stores." Rosella said.

"Don't worry about it. Next year, we can check the shops again." Alexander replied assuredly.

They both find Cedric who was sat on the chair with the table on the far-left corner of the Three Broomsticks Inn.

"You two showed up on time. I told the waiter to fetch the cups of Butterbeer." Cedric responded.

"Thank you." Rosella smirked.

"So, let's straighten up the point. Why was Luke trying to avoid the answers from us?" Alex murmured.

"Don't have a clue. I believe Luke is loyal to Dumbledore." Cedric whispered.

"Loyal to Dumbledore?" Rosella asked.

"I still don't know. What matter is, we got to get the book from the library." Cedric replied.

"But how? We can't go out from the beds and get caught in the middle of the night." Alex replied.

"I'm afraid so. But we have no choice and we have to wait to come up with the plan." Cedric responded.

"Something stealthy..." Rosella puzzled.

The days went by until Christmas Day arrives as Ron tried to call Harry and Alexander.

"Harry! Alex! Wake up! Come on, wake up!" Ron called out.

The two wizard boys awaken to the sound of Ron's voice and they go out to meet him.

The two boys leave the dormitories and look down and see Ron downstairs on the lower level along with Rosella. Ron was wearing a maroon knitted jumper with the letter 'W' knitted on it. Rosella wore her bright green knitted jumper with the heart patterns on it. Apparently, it was one of his gifts from his mother. Ron looked up at them and greets them with a smile.
