Joseph Joestar is a curious mer-fellow, always looking for something to do wherever he went. He has a strange obsession with the "Surface-world" that no one could stop.
He felt as if he was connected to it somehow.
A feeling that attracted him to the very place that his grandparents and uncle Speedwagon kept warning him about. Yes, he was fully aware of all the dangers of the surface world and its inhabitants. But despite its dangers, something was always enchanting about feeling the rush of cool wind against his scales, the chirps, and squawks of seagulls ringing in his ears.
He would even collect anything that strayed from shore to bring it home as souvenirs, a reminder of that world he loved so much. These souvenirs are what he called "trinkets", which he collected almost religiously.
On some days, he would collect a good amount of his courage and rise during the "busier" days where more humans occupied the beach, keeping himself hidden behind the large rocks. The humans jumped across the grainy, hot sand as they had fun, with Joseph watching from afar, feeling sort of jealous of their human privilege.
Personally, he wasn't a big fan of human legs. It just looked way too odd to him, thinking of it as sort of inefficient and a nuisance.
He just wished that he could freely move on land and feel the warm earth beneath his body without worrying about the risk of being spotted or caught by a human and maybe having the ability to properly breathe on land without needing water every 30 seconds.
Yeah, dehydration is a bitch.
One day, as Joseph looked for trinkets to collect for his ever-expanding collection, he notices two figures on the beach. After noticing the unexpected presence of humans, he swiftly hid behind the nearest rock, just close enough to hear the conversation of the two humans who walked side by side.
"Why do you even have to move here to live with miss Lisa Lisa? Can't you stay with us?" the younger girl whined, pouting as the boy chuckled.
"Listen, I chose to move here to study from her, and that's my decision. You could always visit me anytime you'd like!" the blonde replied as he playfully pinched the girl's nose, causing her to let out a snicker.
"When we leave, will you always remember mamma and everyone else?"
"Of course, silly..." he sighs with a smile, ruffling the younger girl's blonde hair.
The young brunette peered closer, resting his chin upon a rock, taking a good look at the individuals.
One of them seems to be a young girl, and the other was an older boy, who was also blonde and seemed to be as old as Joseph. Jojo didn't really take much notice of the girl. However, he set his full attention on this... utterly beautiful boy with these certain pink marks under his alluring, emerald green eyes.
For some odd reason, the blonde had an almost hypnotizing quality to him, making it almost impossible for Joseph to take his eyes off him. He felt so drawn to that boy in a way he can't describe.
Quickly, the blonde notices the bare-chested brunette from the corner of his eye who was unknowingly ogling at him like a kid staring down at a candy store.
