Oddly cooling droplets of the salty seawater fell onto his face, which adorned a pair of spotty reddish-pink birthmarks, falling just below his eyes.

"I- u-uh..." The blonde stuttered, simply awestruck by the creature right in front of him, who gave him a burningly curious gaze.

"S-so, what's your name...?" Caesar inquired with a certainly nervous smile, "-If you have one, of course..."

The odd brunette replies with a raised eyebrow,"Hm... What's a name?"

...And from that... The curious man could do nothing but give the merman a blank stare, his mind suddenly blank.

"Pfft- just kidding! You humans are really fun to mess with!" He exclaims with a cheeky grin,"My name is Joseph Joestar, but you can call me.... JoJo!"

"-JoJo the merman!" He says, giggling at the silly title he made for himself.

"So, JoJo...." Caesar hums for a second before he adds,"Since you already introduced yourself, it's now my turn. So, my name is-"

"Your name is Caesar Zeppeli, you moved here with your 'Lisa Lisa sensei' few years back when you were a young boy and-"

"Hold up. What!?" Caesar jerks back from shock, looking straight at the merman with an an apprehensively curious glare.

He felt a cold shiver went up and down his spine as he felt the blood drain away from his face. With a reluctant, yet inquisitive feeling-

He stammers,"H-How do you k-know me...?"

Upon realizing he had just said that, Joseph's scrunched-up face went from a bronze tan to a cherry-red tint. Why did he even say that?!

His mind and body freezes like a deer caught up in headlights.

He had no choice but to tell the truth. So, with all the courage he could muster up, he breaks the truth to the blonde-haired man.

"W-well... Let's say that I have been... Watching you for quite some time. Ever since you moved here, I guess." He murmurs with a nervous grin, twiddling his thumbs as he waits for the man's response.

"Mamma mia-! What the hell were you doing?! -That was really creepy! Plus, Why didn't you just come right up to me? We could have been friends!" Caesar scolds the young merman, violently kicking the water at Joseph with his legs.

"Hey, hey, calm down! There is this rule that we mer-people can't ever interact with you stinky humans!" Joseph pouts as he crosses his arms,"S-so because of that rule- all I could do was watch from afar so..."

"Why did you come up to me now, then?!"

"IT'S BECAUSE I FELT BAD FOR YOU! AND I LIKE- LO-" He pauses,"L.... Look, I just wanted to be friends."

The brunette murmurs with a pouty look, the redness on his face getting even more noticable.

Caesar obviously notices this. Although, he doesn't think much about it, assuming that JoJo was just a little shy. It's kinda cute.

Feeling sorta bad for his fishy friend, Caesar sighs," You know what, let's just not talk about the fact that you literally stalked me from the sea. Anyways, may I take a photo of you?"

Joseph raises a brow. "Foe-toe? What's a foe-toe?"

The Zeppeli laughs at the silly reaction Joseph has on his face. "You silly fish," he takes out his phone,"This is a photo!"
