10. You Knew?!

Effy walks out of her room to find Izzie standing outside of the bathroom. "Why are we waiting outside?" She asks, looking at the ex model.

"George locked himself in" She smirks, knowingly.

"Oh" Effy giggles before knocking on the door. "Georgie! Come on, I have to brush my teeth!" She shouts as he opens the door with an annoyed look on his face.

"There's no reason to be ashamed. It's normal. Healthy, even" Izzie jokes.

"Well, I wasn't ashamed because I wasn't doing anything. I don't have to. I have a girlfriend" George tells her.

"An Imaginary girlfriend?"

"A real girlfriend" He scowls.

"You know what? It's no big deal. You don't have to lie. We get it, you have needs" Effy tells him as he glares at her slightly.

"What is going on out here?" Meredith asks, walking out of her room.

"Nothing" George scolds.

"Nothing" Izzie and Effy giggle. George sighs, walking away.

"He's freaked out because I caught him playing with little Jimmy and the twins" Izzie whispers as George slams the door to his room.

"This sounds like fun out here" Derek says, walking out of Meredith's room as Effy and Izzie walk into the bathroom.

While brushing her teeth, Effy's phone starts ringing. "What do you want?" She asks, answering the call.

"What? I can't even get a hello?" The voice says on the other end.

"You don't deserve my time. Now what do you want?"

"I need your help"

"Get fucked" Effy scowls before ending the call and sitting on the toilet lid, waiting for Izzie to finish.

"Who was that?" She asks, getting out of the shower.

"Just an old friend. Nothing to worry about. Ready?"

In the hospital, Izzie and Effy walk over to George and Olivia. "Hi George" Izzie smiles.

"Hey"

"So, this is the infamous Olivia. We should talk some time, maybe grab a coffee?" Effy smiles, looking the girl up and down.

"Uh, sure, Dr Ricci. I'll see you later" The nurse says, looking at George before walking off.

"Thank you for being nice to her. She really looks up to you" George tells his best friend.

"I remember you saying"

"She's so into me. She's into me, right?"

"Yeah, way to go, George. She's cute. So, this morning you really weren't..." Izzie trails off.

"Anytime you want to apologize..." George starts.

"Then what were you doing in the bathroom for so long?" Effy asks, curiously.

"I have to go" The boy walks away, leaving Effy and Izzie looking at each other confused.
