You never gave Ron a chance to explain his side.the hurt and pain you felt was was indescribable. A part of you wanted to forgive him and move past this but another part of you just couldn't. He'd broken so many promises and wishes. He broke his promise to love you and to never hurt you in any way,shape or form. He'd broken his wishes to one day marry you and spend the rest of your lives together. He'd broken his words " you are the only one I will ever love". They were all empty handed and short lived. You could never see Ron again. And did everything to make sure of it. You transferred classes that you shared with him. Cut ties with him and his family an in the end. You still loved him.it took you years to even think about another man they way you thought about Ron. He on the other hand, moved on quickly. He started going out with people shortly, only to get his mind of you.however it never worked. He would fantasize of your smile and your laugh. He missed the nights were you two would sneak out to the kitchen and bake cookies. He missed when his mother called you her future daughter in law.he missed you. Every. Single. Part of you. His deepest and biggest regret was to even think about another girl while with you. He never forgave himself for what he did to you and quite frankly, his family didn't either. After nearly 7 years since you and Ron broke up, you were finally getting married,you were getting engaged to one of your dearest friends.Cedric. The word quickly spread of your engagement and Arthur was one to be informed as well. You and Cedric worked in the department of mysteries and Ron worked in the auror. You never one saw each other due to both of you working on different sides of the ministry. His father came up to him one day and broke the news about the engagement. "You know that one girl you dated Ron? Y/N?" Arthur asks and Ron proceeds to nod "vividly,why?" Ron replies
"Well there was news of her engagement~blimley!" Arthur exclaimed when glass shattered all over the floor. Ron dropped the plate he was holding and it broke "e-engaged?" Ron stammers with tears in his eyes . Arthur couldn't give his son an answer. He was unaware that Ron was still in love with you. But now he was sure of it. Arthur nodded before walking away. The next morning Ron makes his way to the department of mysteries to find out if it was the truth. Was he gonna lose you you once and for all? He walks into the department office and looks for your office. He finds it and before he even could approach it, a tall figure opened the door. It was a tall and handsome man with piercing eyes and a put together look. Ron noticed lipstick smeared on Cedric lips and when Cedric finally left, Ron knocked on your door " back so soo- Ron.." your face falls at the sight of Ron. He immediately noticed smeared lipstick etched across your lips and his heart shatters into pieces. He put his hand in his pocket, in attempt to make them stop shaking "c~congrats on your engagement" Ron manages to say as he looks down at your hand to se an ostentatious and sparkling diamond ring adorned on your ring finger.the way you used to adore the promise ring he got you. " thank you" you respond as Ron swallows his pride and walks away " Ron are u okay?" You managed to say " y-yeah I'm f-fine" he says with a raspy voice " is this about my and Cedric's engagement you had 7 years 7 years!to get your act together you had your shot and you blew it " you say with a slight anger in your voice " well it's not my fault you cut of all contact with me, switched all your classes so you wouldn't be in the same classes as me or Because every time I try to talk you you ignore me!" He says " so now it's my fault you cheated?" You say
"No of course not but you could've listen to me or at least my side of it all!"
" why are you saying all this now and not 7 years ago" you say
" Because I'm still madly in love with you and I can't believe it's not me who's marrying you!" He says
" you still love me?" You managed to say
"Of course I have ever since the day I met you" he says
" Ronald weasley stop confusing me" you say
" what do you mean I'm confusing you!" He says
" first you love me and then you cheat on me and then you love me again don't you get how confused I am!" You say
" it was all a mistake being with her I was being paranoid and thought you where gonna leave me Because I'm not rich like the other boys who ask you out I'm so so sor-" he didn't finish his sentence since you cut him of
