"I know what i did"

"RONALD WEASLEY" molly exclaims as Ron comes into the burrow for Christmas. It's been nearly 3 months since you and Ron ended and this was the first time he was seeing his family in person after cheating on you.  "Mum ... I know okay? I know what I did", Ron sighs as molly storms up to him and slaps the back of his neck " boy.. I don't think you know what you did. Not only did you breach the trust in you. You ensured yourself a hell when you work at the ministry" Arthur informs, placing the newspaper on the kitchen table. Ron raises and eyebrow and right then bill Weasley comes down stairs. Bill was home for Christmas and knew about everything " y/n's family comes from a place in the ministry.brother. Her mother and father most likely know of your infidelity so you do realize that a job at the ministry of magic is a reach for you"  bill explains. Honestly Ron couldn't care less about his future since you weren't in it. He didn't care  about a job at the ministry or about bill's job in Egypt. He just wanted you there with him on Christmas. He just wanted you there. During the 3 months after you and Ron separated, you fell into a deep state of mind. You couldn't stop wondering whetever or not this was your fault. Did he do it because he felt as if you deprived him of affection or love? Or did he just fall out of love? These thoughts wandered trough your mind but in reality ron was very much still in love with you he just never knew how to show you. Your parents introduced you to someone they felt was suitable. Even though you still loved Ron, you gave it a shot Because lord this man was charming as hell. Cedric came from another respectable family and definitely looked like it. He was well groomed and had impeccable manners. Pulling the chair for the lady to sit, identifying  correct utensils and chivalry. Very different form Ron but not a bad different. A few weeks later you both began seeing each other and then officially dating.at first it was a bit strange. Ron was the first man you loved so this way of chivalry and respect was a bit new. But it grew on you and you actually enjoyed it. Cedric was a gentleman all the time but loosened up around you and slowly helped you see that you where much more than you thought you were.  Back to the Weasley's. The Weasley's  were at the leaky cauldron with everyone awaiting Charlie's arrival. That's when Ginny's eyes widen at the door. The entire family turns around and repeats Ginny's actions. You were standing there with your new boyfriend who towered over you but yet he still managed to link his arm with yours. Then following came in Cedric's family. Once again they were all well spoken and highly talked about as if they were royal. They were essentially weasley's replacement. Ron's heart sunk at the sight of you happy. Because he knew he would never be able to make you happy again. You noticed the weasleys and gave a quick wave out of politeness and flashed Ginny a smile since you both remained friends. Though Ginny was aware of that you had moved on, your new boyfriends looks were never discussed. He was more handsome than Ginny anticipated. " you knew Ginny? And you didn't tell me?" Ron asks as the weasleys all turn  to face Ginny and Ron " of course I knew just because you're a cheater doesn't mean I can't be friends with her.I just never knew that her new boyfriend was rich and good looking"  Ginny sneers in response. Ron knew right there and then that the future he longed with you was now officially out of reach.
