When his last class was over Harry ran to his dorm just to find the door unlocked and no Louis. He had almost worked up a full-blown panic attack when the door opened and Louis strolled inside. Harry ran up to him and hugged him tightly.
"Where were you? You scared me."

"I'm sorry. I was out trying to get a job." Louis informed him and hugged him back.

Harry let go and looked at him.
"A job?"

"Yeah, I need a job so I can buy food and clothes and give you presents." Louis smiled.

"That's sweet Lou, but you don't have to buy me presents. You've already given me the best gift I could ever receive." Harry said softly and caressed Louis' cheek.

"What?" Louis questioned.

"You, silly." Harry giggled and kissed him.

Louis let out a happy sigh and wrapped his arms around Harry's neck, and returned the kiss. When they needed to come up for air Harry kissed the tip of Louis' nose before he took his hand and lead him toward the couch. They took a seat.
"So how did the job hunting go then?"

"Well, I got this form, but I need your help." Louis said and handed Harry a paper.

Harry unfolded it and read the information they were asking for.
"Yeah, I can see the problem here."

Louis gave him a sad pout.
"Does that mean that I can never get a job?"

"No! I'm gonna fix this. I just need some time. I have to find a computer hacker that doesn't ask questions." Harry answered.

"That doesn't sound legal, Hazza." Louis pointed out.

"Oh, well. In this case, that's our only option, love. Don't worry about it." Harry smiled.

Louis came closer and grabbed Harry's t-shirt to pull him in for a kiss. Soon they were laying down on the couch making out and it was getting heated. All of sudden the door swung open and they broke free.
"Hi mate, how was your first...oh, sorry. Uhm, hi?" Niall said as he walked inside.

"Niall, eh, this is Louis." Harry introduced them while he tried to fix his hair.

Louis got up and gave Niall a big hug.
"Niall! Such a pleasure to finally meet you in person. You're such a great friend to Harry."

Niall petted Louis back awkwardly.
"Uhm, thanks. And you are?"

"Harry's boyfriend." Louis answered honestly as he let go of Niall and Harry grunted internally.

"Boyfriend? What the hell Harry? Moving fast there, mate?" Niall said in disbelief.

"Er, ehm, eh, oh, hrm, we...eh, met on the Internet!" Harry stuttered and smiled with relief when he came up with an answer.

"And why is this the first time I hear of it? Is this a stupid prank? I swear to God, you have the worst humor ever." Niall muttered and crossed his arms over his chest.

"No, it's no joke. I'm sorry I haven't told you. I was meaning to but...ehm, er, hrm, like..." Harry rambled totally stressed out.

Louis looked between them with big eyes and his mouth slightly open.

Niall glared at Harry.
"You're gonna have to make it up to me, with that said, it's nice to meet you Louis, and I'm happy you found someone Harry even if you failed to mention it. Now I need food."

"Food! Me too! We have cereals! Best thing ever!" Louis said excitedly.

Niall gave him an odd look.
"Uhm, yeah, but I was thinking more in the line of chicken or something. No offense mate."

"I can cook us something." Harry said and walked over to the pantry.

Louis followed him closely behind and peeked over Harry's shoulder as he picked out ingredients for a chicken curry casserole, making small outbursts of excitement after every item Harry got from the fridge and freezer. Niall leaned against the wall and watched them, utterly confused. This Louis guy was a little weird.

He watched as Louis was hovering over Harry, mostly being in the way and he actually clapped his hands and jumped up and down in excitement when Harry put the chicken on a plate to defrost it in the microwave. He raised an eyebrow in amusement. He loved his chicken, don't get him wrong, but this was a whole new level of chicken admiration.
"So Louis, what's your surname?"

Louis looked at Harry.
"Ehm, T...Tomlinson. Louis Tomlinson. Right, love?" Harry answered and Louis nodded his head with a smile.

"And where are you from?" Niall asked.

Harry answered again.
"Doncaster."

Niall furrowed his eyebrows. What was going on? Why wasn't Louis answering his questions?
"And how long have you been dating?"

Harry turned around and looked at him.
"A while, what's up with the interrogation Niall?"

"I'm just trying to get to know your boyfriend. So, when exactly have you seen each other before college? To my acknowledgment you've never gone to Doncaster and Louis has never come to visit you."

"Well, you know..." Harry said dismissively and waved his hand in the air.

"I don't. That's why I'm asking." Niall pushed.

"Niall, drop it!" Harry said pensively.

Okay, what the fuck was going on? Niall decided to keep quiet, for now. Harry turned to Louis.
"Wanna make a salad?"

"Sure!" Louis immediately agreed.

Harry got a cutting board and a knife and washed some salad, tomatoes, and cucumber before he put them on the table. Louis took a seat. He picked up the knife and looked at it as he was trying to decide which way he was supposed to use it. He looked up at Harry who grinned at him and made a hand motion, telling him to turn the knife the other way. Louis sliced a bite of the tomato, looking really concentrated.
"How do you slice tomatoes? I'm trying to think about it now. How do you slice it neat?" He whispered to himself but Niall heard him.

He watched in amusement as Louis tried to cut the tomatoes. He tried not to laugh. Then Louis looked up.
"This is ending up a proper car crash. I'm ruining it already. Oh, dear."

Niall couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing. Harry was giggling by the stove and Louis looked between them and then he started laughing as well.

Harry made them dinner and complimented Louis on the salad when he was done and they sat down to eat. Louis moaned when he took his first bite and Niall stared at him, confused yet again.
"Oh my God Harry, this is delicious!" Louis said.

Harry giggled softly.
"Thanks."

Niall couldn't for his life figure out the two of them, or Louis for that matter. The way they interacted it seemed like they had known each other for a long time and were deeply in love. And for Louis? That man really loved chicken.
